Double knit jumper with a concealed wind-stopping panel

The Merino Stand Collar has a windproof fabric stitched into the inside of the front body, blocking wind when on the bike, while maintaining breathability on the back. Made with 100% merino, this jumper uses a warm, double-knit construction for further insulation.

At the end of each sleeve, a double layer ‘signalcuff’ features both hi-vis and reflective yarns, which can be revealed to offer added visibility when riding in low light. Simply turn back the cuff to reveal the hi-vis and reflective bands.

  • Concealed wind stopping fabric acts as a barrier to the wind
  • Back pocket with mini ring puller for ease of use
  • Fold back double ‘signalcuffs’ with reflective and hi-vis pink stripes for visibility

Main body:

  • 90% merino wool
  • 7% nylon
  • 3% elastane

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As soon as I put it on I knew it was good Bought this a month ago and as soon as I put it on I could feel the quality and warmth, it's a lovely only fear is I'll wear it out by wearing it too much. The wind layers does make a bit of a rustle but it's nothing. Great jumper and great quality. I am 6'4 (194cm) and 85ks, based on other comments I got a size L (normally XL) and this is perfect for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstand-ing collar Wear this everywhere not just on a bike. Warm and slim fitting. Perfect fit for me a regular large wearer at 6 feet and 85kg. Love the colour and the fact it's minus the Rapha logo. The wind front panel does feel a little unusual initially but it's a nice touch like the high viz wrist bands. Liked it so much I quickly bought a second.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and comfortable Size down! I usually wear small from the city and classic line and this piece is definitely too loose to fit anybody with a build of a cyclist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and effective. My husband had trouble keeping warm until I bought him one of these which he wears over a deep winter polo base layer and then a jacket over the top. The wind resistant inner layer insulates and the collar sits just right. I have now bought him another in the black stripe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like a childhood favourite Now this is more like it. Straight out of the artful dodger's winter wardrobe, with shape enough to wear at work, AND works really well on the bike - finding it slightly too warm at anything above 3 degrees with a vest underneath at present - pink cuffs can get lost under winter length gloves, unless needed. Hidden pocket keeps keys handy. Even my wife approves - this time!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for cold rides. Really a nice product, perhaps the only strange thing is that the "wind proof panel" makes strange noise when I'm walking, it's as if a plastic bag was sewn into it. But it's not too noisy, just a strange feeling at first. Perfect for rides in cold weather. Btw did you know that it's made in China? Not that this makes this product less good in any way, I just didn't realize it until I saw the tag... I somehow hoped Rapha was making its products locally, but almost everything is now being made in China, I guess...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite new piece. I ordered this because I liked the feature of the wind protection front. thinking it would be like my other merino tops. I was surprised how heavy and thick it was when I took it out of the package. This is a major piece! I'm usually between a L and XL depending on the item and cut. I'm 6' 180 lbs. The XL is a bit loose so I immediately ordered another in Large to have for on the bike and the XL to wear casually. I like it that much. Any base under is a good idea because the windblock material is cool on my chest. I wore it outside in 40 degree F with the Rapha Winter baseayer and it all I needed, very warm. I'm going to wear this a lot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super soft & warm Bought this to wear in the winter for casual and work. It is so warm and soft. The Wind panel cuts out on my need for layers-that panel really works. The cuff is stylish with the fold back pink. I have received many compliments on the fit and style from colleagues. They cannot believe it is cycling apparel.

At what temperature would commuting 10-12 miles be too warm in this sweater? I was planning on using it in 40's to mid 50's Fahrenheit.

Asked by: Voldoc
Hi, there is a lot of individual variation when commuting, depending on your own exertion level and temperature regulation. An approximate range would be 38-50 Fahrenheit for a long city commute.

Is this fitted like the pro jersey or lose like sweaters?

Asked by: R618
Hi, this has a fit in line with other city items. It is not loose, but has a much more relaxed fit than our Pro Team jerseys.
