Better than pro team
I've always struggled with the pro team tights as they have an annoying seam down the leg which chaiffs. Ive been using a very expensive alternative made in the Basque country but thought I'd give the Core version ago. I love them. More comfy than the pro team with an excellent pad. All my Rapha bibs fit like my classic sizing ie large whereas Im XL in pro team jerseys. Well done Rapha really superb quality and not too expensive either. Warm and well fitting.

Well fitting tights
I am very pleased with the tights. I bought the XXL. I am 61, 1.96m and 97kg (6’ 5” and 15st in old money) I ride 150-300km per week and do the occasional sportive. They are a tight fit, which I like with everything in its place and a place for everything. If I were a few kg heavier I think they could become uncomfortable but for me they are fine. They stop at the ankle with no strap going under the foot, again a feature I like. I have worn them a few times now in temperatures between 7-15’C and they have met me warm. The padding is reasonable but just having had a new saddle and a change of position it is a bit early to judge comfort fully.
My only quibble is that the Rapha brand name is printed in black rather than white which I believe is the case for the navy blue version. This has not prevented me from buying a second pair.

Stylish quality tights.
My first tights from Rapha and very pleased with it! Modest yet stylish look, top quality materials and fine finishing, and the chamois sits most comfortable. With 1.73m and 63kg I chose size small, and I must say they fit rather small but not unpleasant. No problem concerning the length of the legs. I used it in +/- 7°C and sometimes felt slightly cold above the knees, but then again I am not quite a bear. In general: nice product for a decent price.

Not great git
Great fabric but too short in the waist - really uncomfortable. Not tight enough around legs - maybe modelled for shorter / more stout individual?

Bad fit, poor customer service
Tights don't fit selected size guide. I have a pair the Cargo bib in the same size that fits fine, this is much smaller and very uncomfortable. I am outside of the 14 day return policy and stuck with overpriced gear that is a bad fit. Last purchase I will make from Rapha.

Warm and comfortable
Best thing about these is the pad, it’s thick and probably the best one I’ve found to keep my gentleman’s area comfortable. (I don’t know why this is taboo but should be the no1 consideration when buying bibs) in size L they are quite snug for my weight of 78kg. I would have preferred the branding to be in white just to make them stand out a bit more, still they are comfortable, warm and don’t bunch up.

So far so good
I opted for extra large as I am 6ft with a 34inch waist, they are a little too long but that is not a bad thing in the winter as they tuck into my shoes. They are very comfortable and warm in temps of 5 degrees. Not had a chance to test the pad on a long ride but after 50k there was no discomfort. Delivery was longer than I was expecting but overall happy with these so far, great for winter rides.

High quality for decent price
I needed a more comfy pair of winter tights, and these have worked out great. They're just as comfortable as my Rapha bib shorts. Nice fit - I could probably put some long underwear under them for real cold rides, but they're snug without. I've ridden with these in the mid-20s F and I didn't feel the cold. There isn't much reflection on these (if any), so be sure to wear something bright up top.

Not great sizing (for me)
I really wanted these work. I tried both XL and XXL sized tights but neither fit well. The pads sit very low for both sizes. I first purchased XL size that didn't fit, then I tried to upsize however the parts below my knees were way too loose. I felt like I was wearing pants. I was quite exited about these winter tights but I will continue wearing leg warmers with thermal/winter bib shorts.

Price vs. quality is great
Price/quality-wise I like this one the most out of the range of long tights. It's a snug fit (I'm 1m84 and weigh 81 kg's) but nothing uncomfortable. This is my go-to on the coldest of days.

Fit for purpose!
Have only worn these once as it hasn't been cold enough yet. Felt quite tight in first fit (am running to a 36" waist at the moment and mine are Large) but entirely comfortable when on and riding. Pad is good and thick and furry lining feels like it will resist the cold, but not really tested yet. Would have preferred foot hoops but ankle grippers good and tight and don't shift

A bit long in the leg but still the best I’ve worn
I have a long torso and shortish legs so was worried that the xl would be too long in the leg. Truth is the legs are too long but the rest fits perfectly. However the material allows for the legs to be folded over at the ankle so that it doesn’t look odd and stays that way during the ride. Pad is best I’ve had in bib shorts or tights! So good I bought a second pair.

Not for deep winter but fine for what it is
I've been happy wearing this from -3 to 17 degrees C. Definitely more for mild winter, early spring, late autumn. My legs were fine but somehow the fabric around the side of the hips was letting in a lot of cold. No problems with the pad even on longer rides. The fit is tight and looks good. For reference, I'm 178cm, 70kg and wear S size for everything Rapha.

First off, I'm 5'10" 190lbs with thick legs. The mediums are as tight as I'm comfortable with. So be cautious if you have slightly larger than normal thighs. I ride in anything between 32-65ish degrees with these. I've not ran into a cold issue yet. They're warm and breathable, but I've yet to hit any precipitation. These, I highly recommended.

Great cold weather bib tights
These are great bib tights for the winter months, fabric and fit are pretty spot on, not keen on wearing anything too flash in dodgy conditions but with the recent price hike are not quite the value proposition they used to be, that said have worn on 4+ hour rides and have held up really well to the elements so pretty happy.

Marvellous - used them everyy ride this year
Very well made with nice subtle branding. Material is thick but not restrictive and has kept me warm on every early morning ride this year. Core pad works well for me. With the Core range, I always go off the size chart and the small fits perfectly with no baggy knees. Would recommend to anyone and would certainly buy again.

Good value, don’t love the chamois.
Okay, so I didn’t ride in these. I tried them on, and decided to return them. The materials on the legs are quite thick, and this would be great for somewhere with a real winter (I’m in California). I had some concerns about the chamois, and I had purchased a pair of the Core Cargo bibs from a local bike shop so I tried those out on a ride and my concerns were justified. The slit in the center of the chamois seems to create an upside down v that jams into my body parts down there. I don’t experience any issues seated, but standing results in pain. I can’t believe this chamois design got through their R&D folks. I’ve ridden a lot of other brands and have never had pain like this. I will say, the folks at Rapha took back the tights and the return experience was great. The local bike shop says once it’s worn it’s not eligible for return on their receipt. Don’t know why I’ll ever shop there again, especially for apparel. I’ve got some medium Cargo bibs if anyone wants ‘em.

Brilliant quality
Excellent quality for the price, good fit with usual high quality Rapha pad, a little long in the leg so requires rolling up a little at the ankle otherwise you’ll look like you’ve got baggy knees. Fit a little tight, I’m a M in normal bibs but required an L in these, probably to do with the warm fleece lining.

Ice fit, good in the cold, OK padding
Size M fitted well for 6 ft height, as other reviews suggested. Used in 0-5 degrees, and happy with performance. Not too enthusiastic about the chamois. Frequently getting uncomfortable after a couple of hours riding, but that could be a mismatch between my saddle and the the shape of my saddle or my rear end…

Good quality, not as warm as I’d hoped.
These are well made and comfortable, sizing feels smaller than the classic range and the legs are quite thin. Very comfortable though. If I’m honest, I wouldn’t use them in very cold conditions as they are not as warm as some of my old DHB gear, but form around 5 degrees they are good.

Core Winter tights
Used these tights for a sportive in Cumbria with temperatures starting at 0 degrees and not rising above 2 degrees all day. Felt comfortable throughout the ride and kept me warm without being overly so. Looking forward to getting out again with the confidence this item has afforded me

Poor fit
Sizing is an issue, i tried on a pair of bibshorts st the manchester store, and found them a good fit, however the sizing seems to be different in the bib tights; they do not fit as well as other bibs i have. I contacted Rapha to enquire about the sizing but hsve not had a reply....

Interesting wear in fabric
Great fit, and quality. Unfortunately, wore them once on a 50 mile ride after receiving in the mail, and the fabric frayed on my posterior inner thigh (the seat doesnt rub there so not sure why this happened). Little disappointed in this, but still the best set of pants I own.

Poor quality
With less than a month of use; the fabric located in the pad is starting to wear away. This is a product that should be long lasting as it is basic piece of cloth for any cyclist. I bought this tight expecting the best quality and performance but hasn't been the case.

Not quite see winter but feel great
Once again, slimmer than my older Rapha kit. Also not as effective in sub 5 degrees. If they could use some of the wind proof material from the jacket on the thighs that would be perfect!
The bin also flattened the lockdown belly which is great for hitting the drops.

Tighter fit than Core shorts and under-whelmed.
Tighter fit than the Core shorts and compared to my DHB Aeron winter bibs - all size medium in my case for my 32” waist. Feel and look a bit like winter shorts with long legs sewn on and nothing reflective of any note. Prefer my DHB ones tbh even with crash damage!

Basic tights, could improve and be a bit cheaper
Need to size up 1 from other Core bibs (cargo and regular summer bibs). Ended up returning due to them being too small. Very basic simple tights, probably do the job but would love to see the price a bit lower and features like more reflective stripes on the back
