1. » Lithgow Winter Solstice Prestige

Date: Sunday, 20th June 2021

Start: Rydal Showgrounds

Finish: Rydal Showgrounds

The Rapha Prestige tasks small amateur teams with an unsupported and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain. The rules are simple: start and finish as a team, and pass through all the checkpoints.

The Route

Only a few hours drive from Sydney, Lithgow is home to a trove of native history, made up of over four hundred declared Aboriginal sites. Nestled in the Blue Mountains at the edge of the national park, this valley town is the perfect place to put your bike handling skills to the test.

Prepare for approximately 132 kilometres of rolling terrain with 3000m of elevation. Expect to be on the bike for six hours. We seek out the roads less travelled, aiming to be quite remote at times.

The exact route and details of the checkpoint locations will be revealed only to confirmed participants one week before the ride.

The Rapha Lithgow Winter Solstice Prestige is a completely unsupported ride to be completed by teams of four. To make sure you’re self-sufficient out on the road, ensure you’re prepared for anything by bringing along two tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit, and a masterlink. We highly recommend a spare kit and plenty of food.
