The Rapha Prestige tasks small amateur teams with an unsupported and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain. The rules are simple: start and finish as a team of 3 or 4, and pass through all the checkpoints.
Date: Sunday July 14
Start: Rapha Boulder
Finish: Rapha Boulder
The Women’s Prestige Boulder is part of a global series of rides taking in some of the greatest riding around. It’s not an arduous individual test but rather a challenging ride to be tackled with a group of friends. You’ll have a route to follow and each other for support as you ride into the mountains for a big day out. The rules are simple: start and finish as a team, and pass through all the checkpoints.
The route is 85 miles long and heads out of town and into the mountains beyond. There’s plenty of climbing but don’t be daunted, it’s not a race. There’ll be a stop in Nederland, a few additional checkpoint locations and a supplied route, which will be revealed to teams 48 hours before the ride.
The Women’s Prestige Boulder is a completely unsupported ride but you will have your teammates for company and support. To make sure you’re self-sufficient out on the road, we recommend two tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit, and a masterlink. We highly recommend spare kit, plenty of food and, given the variety of terrain on the route, wider tyres.
