One of my basics
Comfortable fit, padding is great, material is nice. I like how they are comfortable at the tummy but still feel really secure.
They are towards the longer length (for women shorts) and I like them for spring rides, before it is really hot or to wear under leggings in the winter. I bought them to replace my 2011 of the same model and hopefully they will last as long.
It would be a 5 star product, but the elastic on the leg has been changed since the old model and now they give more of a "sausage" appearance to my not-only-plain-muscle tighs. Not as bad as some shorts, but enough to make me feel slightly self conscious.

Not premium quality cycling shorts
These do not look, fit or feel like quality waist shorts. The chamois is thick and very stiff and feels too large for the shorts. The stiff chamois also doesn’t go well with the relatively soft jersey like material of the shorts. It really does feel like what I think it would feel like to wear a nappy. The leg length is also quite short - I am only 152cm tall and these regular length shorts end above mid thigh. The leg opening also has a thick, stiff hem, which doesn’t sit flush against the skin. This not only looks bad - it doesn’t allow the shorts to stretch as you bend your leg through the pedal stroke, which makes the shorts feel restrictive. Would not recommend.

OK shorts
Love the length, and the fabric feels soft, but the pad is thick and hard, and hasn't softened much with wear yet. The waist is a little high for me too, but it's really easy to fold over, and then sits exactly where I want it. Ok shorts, but not my favourites.

Medium fits me, 150 lbs, over 50 years old, female
I'm older and done racing. I retired all my kits, and all I use are my Rapha Classic shorts - I use these indoor on my trainer and outdoor. Great material, and the thick leg band compresses nicely with out creating huge bulges. The best shorts on the market for me, and my post racing body.

Quality declining
I’ve worn Rapha shorts for over 10 years. I won’t buy another pair, they are no longer a premium product which I didn’t mind paying for.

Choose bigger size.
Color is good, material soft but too small. I felt pressure tight around the edges from the thigh band. Allergies occurred.

Excellent, full stop!
Bought 1 pair of these on sale, having not worn Rapha knicks before. Perfect from first wear. Liked them so much I purchased an additional two pairs! New favourite brand of knicks. Perfect fit, leg band stays in place and very comfortable waistband

What is the difference between the classic and core shorts? I’m confused as there is a big price difference? Also, please can you tell me the leg length of the shorts.
The Classic Shorts and the Core Shorts have the same chamois but otherwise are completely different from each other.
The Classic Shorts are known to be extremely comfortable. The material they are made with is very stretchy and they feature low-profile, silicone-backed leg grippers.
The Core Shorts are known to be simple and durable. Their fabric has less stretch and the leg grippers are made of laser-cut soft silicone.
