Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Nee Favorite Bibs!! I got these “cargo” bibs because I hate having a seat bag. I’ve been carrying all my stuff in my jersey pockets and now I can spread it out and not feel like a chipmunk. The material on these is amazing. The chamois is thicker and a little and wider than my pro teams. I tested them on a 50 mile ride and felt great the entire ride. I was worried that having stuff in the leg pockets would bother me, but I didn’t even notice while riding. My only criticism is they seem a little long, I am guessing to make room for the pocket to be deep. I really didn’t need a second tan line, but the function makes them worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The pockets make all the difference I do a lot of adventure riding, riding while camping and bike touring and these shorts are amazing for keeping the things you need close by and easily accessible. Usually when you are riding multiple days in a row, you need to make stops to buy groceries or other items, having the ability to put your wallet and phone in the pockets is a huge plus to keep your hands free. I even ride with them in the pockets sometimes and there is no movement and you can't tell anything is there. One thing I will note is your phone will get sweaty, so may not be the best place for it. Overall really happy with these and they add so much versatility.

Over the last 2 years I've migrated from road to gravel, and while I like the feel of a true road kit, they're typically not versatile or durable enough to withstand the gravel environment. Enter Rapha Cargo Bibs. Bought the 1st pair paired with the technical tee but wondered about stowage...well, deep leg pockets and two well placed bib pockets removed those doubts. The material is exceptionally durable (unfortunately, I've tested THAT too!). Like so much I now have 3 pairs. Whether you're out for a spin on the rail-trail or embarking on an epic like DK200, these are the bibs to have. Highly recommended!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great feel, but significanlty bleeds colour Coming out of the cold winter months, I used these for the first time yesterday. The fit is great, I love the pockets, however, one huge dissapointment: My favourite white long sleeve jersey made from a wool blend from Cafe du cycliste now has clear black marks all over the back. The cause is just my sweat in a 4 hours ride in 10 degree weather. I even washed the jersey twice after riding, but the stains do not disappear. So, make sure you either wash the shorts (several times) before combining with white garments, or make sure you ride all black :-(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good features, limited quality, high price. The bibs aer comfortable and the pockets are useful in longer rides. I use it to keep my mobile and it holds in please well. I would not put a banana in that pocket as it would squeeze it. The fabric of the previous version was more comfortable with more stretch. There is a water resistance to the fabric which comes handy in light rain. The fabric does not breath well and my private parts often feel like it is accumulating sweat. This is an absolute killer to me. The price of these bibs are not justified in any way for the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stitching came undone. The stitching to the pad came undone after one four hour ride,this was also my first ride in them. First i thought my position was off since this is my fifth pair from Rapha that have broken in the exactly the same place but have other shorts from different brand that still is intact. This is a real shame since I really Raphas stuff but I will buy my clothes from another place in the future,atleast the bibs. I’ve heard that Rapha was better quality in the past but I cant confirm that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Complete Bib Shorts! It checks all the boxes for me: STYLE - the "cargo" name is misleading, these bibs are as sleek as the other Rapha ones. The pockets are very understated and yet are there when you need them. The Brevet color stripes are given a modern look behind the pocket. UTILITY - pockets at the back hold the volume of 2 essentials cases, freeing you up to wear more comfortable shirts. pockets in the legs have unexpectedly substantial volume capacity. So useful for on the go stuff: food, food wrappers after eating them, cards, lights, cap, etc. I'd use these on trails and MTB rides! THE REAL VALUE: the cloth. Its like a thin shadow cloth, it is almost hydrophobic,, water beads down. Breathable, tested in as much as 33c hot and humid ride for 3 hours, did not feel hot. SOME NOTES: while the "thin shadow" cloth dries in no time, chamois does not dry overnight in the humid Asian weather. Also, I feel insecure with an iphone in the pocket as it is thin and seems to be able to slide out unnoticed - best to put it in the back pocket. Lastly, while the thigh band of the Cargo BIB is comfortable, the PT Bib Shorts 2 still rules with its wide band, I find that better for all day rides.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I read in one of the reviews that the legs come up a bit wide but after putting in a call to Customer Services took a chance. Unfortunately in my normal size I found that they do! I tried sizing down but the shoulder straps were on the short side. I wasn't that impressed with the material anyway. Disappointed, as I thought they were a great idea and really wanted them to work. But at this sort of very high price point there isn't really room for compromise. Don't buy if your legs are on the skinny side!

I am a 5’3 male with about 29-30 inch on the waist. I’m currently using an XS mens on the core cargo bib, fits just fine, i’m wondering what size am I on this brevet cargo bib. Also, between XS and S on this brevet cargo, is it the same length?

Hello, I would suggest the same size in the Brevet Cargo Bibs if the Core Cargo Bibs that you have in X-small are a comfortable fit for you. The inseam length for the Brevet Cargo bibs are 23cm for the X-small and 24cm for the small.

Hi. I am 183cm tall and 65kg. I wear proteam bib in size M. For your information, the size S of the proteam bib felt a little short on the shoulder strap. Should I buy this product in the same size as M? Or would S be good?

I’m 6’5 210lbs. Should I get the XXL so I get the maximum length? My waist is 35 inches and I don’t think a size large will be big or long enough.

Based on your height, weight and waist measurement we recommend a size L. If you feel like you are between two sizes we recommend purchasing both and returning the size that does not work out, as we offer free returns.

Hello, I bought the small size, but it's slightly a tighter fit. I'm 5' 3" with a 29 inch waist and 38 inch chest. Should I size up? Thanks

Based on your measurements a size S should be the correct size for you. Bibs should be tight enough that the chamois and material does not shift around while on the bike. With that said, if you find the bibs uncomfortably tight we recommend sizing up.

Based on your weight and height alone we recommend a size S in these bibs. We do, however, recommend comparing your chest, waist and hip measurements to our size charts on each product page for the most accurate sizing.

Purchased this one after having read dozens of reviews/Q&As. I'm 1,80m tall at 75kg, inside leg of 81cm. Referring to the information given I've chosen size M. Except of the suspenders it doesn't feel tight. Would the suspenders be shorter in size S?

Wearing the Core Cargo Bib, size M, will these fit in M as well? Also are the legs shorter or same length as the Core one?

We recommend the same size in the Cargo Bibs as you wear in the Core Cargo Bibs. The Cargo Bibs have a 0.5 cm shorter inseam than the Core Cargo Bibs.
