Description

Designed for training and racing in hot and humid conditions, Rapha’s Lightweight Socks have an open mesh construction for the very highest levels of breathability. The socks use a yarn created to feel very soft against the skin and which is also extremely high wicking, improving moisture management further. The footbed also has a soft finish for comfort, while handlocked seams and flatlock stitching throughout ensure the socks won’t chafe, no matter how hard or hot the ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent work socks too! Rapha is known for many things, but perhaps it should be their socks they are known for. Sometimes it is the little luxuries. I have a lot of Rapha socks. I got these for two reasons: 1. getting tired of black and migrating my cycling kit to navy over time; and 2. to wear to work as I similarly migrate my work attire away from black as well. They are equally good in a professional setting as they are on the bike, which is to say quite good. The regular length are long enough that no one can tell I am wearing athletic socks; the thickness is thin enough to wear with work or dress shoes; and in typical Rapha sock fashion, they are nice and snug and well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight sock Before I ordered I was worried these would be too thin and therefore not wear well or last long. However, they are quite strong and just thick enough to provide sufficient cushion and protection from the outside of your cycling shoe (say Fizik Infinito R1 shoes with minimal padding). The sock is also thin enough that it doesn’t absorb too much water weight in hot humid conditions or the rain. Lengthwise they are the same length as proteam short socks. I do wish there was also a longer version, say 3cm longer, but still short is good so it doesn’t absorb too much water/sweat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super light! Love the material, super light! A bit too tight around the leg - and I don't have big legs haha. I have a size 38 and went for Small, could easily go for M just because that it's a bit tight on top. The length is good though! Overall, awesome socks!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great first impression, The style and feel of these socks is fantastic, and they performed exactly as expected during their first wear, being very light and breathable. Unfortunately I won't get more than one ride from them as they shrunk significantly in the wash! Would therefore recommend sizing up at least once for anyone committed to purchasing them, but nevertheless disappointing for a relatively expensive pair of socks!

Most socks I could only use for about 2 hours but these I can go 3+ without any pain. Not only that, but they are great in the heat, they are thoughtfully constructed, and they don't feel flimsy. I will likely buy more pairs.

Hello, the sock sizes do not indicate size to gender. Are these women's or men's foot sizes?

Hello, these are sized in the Men's section however in the sizing chart the women's sizing is given in US sizes. For example; XS = EU35-37 = US(W) 5-6.

Hello, how thick are these and how do they compare to the pro team sock?  I grabbed a bundle of pro team this summer but I wanted these and were not in stock.  Pro team is super thin and almost stocking like, maybe the lightest sock I have owned.

The size guide only lists full sizes. If I'm in-between sizes (e.g., 10.5), which size would you recommend?

Each case is individual but in cases such as you have mentioned it could be suggested that you go for the upper size if you are between sizes. We do have a 90 day returns policy should the garment not meet your requirements.
