The Merino Gloves are designed to bridge the gap between summer mitts and bulkier winter gloves by providing enough protection to cut through the wind without any compromise on handlebar feel. The top panel is made with an engineered knit that features comfortable merino wool next to the skin and nylon on the outside for durability. For guaranteed grip in all conditions, the palm is constructed with AX® suede, which also features on the touch screen-compatible fingertips. And for improved dexterity and feel on the hoods, there’s no padding. Designed to integrate neatly with your jacket, the ribbed cuffs are elasticated for a snug fit, with a pull tab for easy removal.

Great gloves
The gloves I’ve been waiting for years for Rapha to make: simple and stripped back, close-fitting and dextrous. For me these work well when it’s chilly and barehanded isn’t comfortable but you don’t want something big and bulky. That’s between about 5C and 12C for me but I’m biggish (190cm / 87kg) and run warm. They also seem to work well when wet as long as my core stays dry and warm - on a recent through the night ride it was about 6C and bucketing down but hands stayed warm. Highly recommended.

Perfect bridge between light - heavy winter gloves
This is a perfect glove to bridge between a lightweight full finger glove and full on heavyweight winter glove. I have been using these for temperatures between 40*F and 55*F. The fit isn’t perfect, as I find the palm area slightly too small for how long the fingers are, but this is only a slight issue. I still wear these often without any complaint, and they are very comfortable. As a bonus, these are just thin enough to fit inside of my heavier winter gloves from Rapha as a liner.

Gets cold down under from
Terrible quality and even worse ‘customer service’
The gloves came unstitched after two rides, I raised this to Rapha customer services of whom took more than 3 weeks to reply. During which time i replaced the gloves and had the Rapha ones repaired at my cost.

Lovely Merino Gloves
Its very difficult to review cycling gloves as they can be different for each riders hands, effectiveness in cooler temperatures, shape and size, finger length, cuff tightness, nose to glove wipe when its required, cyclists will know what iam on about.
These new Merino gloves are a nice change and in my opinion lie in between a winter glove and bare hands....these for me worn above 10 degrees are perfect,anything below that and my hands were cold and needed a winter glove, i love these in the blue colourway and they feel soft and comfortable when hands are gripping the bars,theyre very dexterous when braking and gear changing but...they have a fault...they scratch my nose when wiping as they dont have a softer thumb wipe,this is not a big issue but could of benefitted from a soft thumb wipe.Overall i still give 5 stars though as so far i love them and looks like they'll last a while. Nice gloves.

Great mid-winter glove option
Really liking these after a first couple of rides - brisk but not very cold starts (upper 30’s to 40F/ 3-5C) kept the cold at bay, but also remained comfortable as the day warmed up into the 50’s (12-15C). This fit is snug and the finish is great.

Size up, sizing guide is helpful but still size up
Even with the correct sizing using the Rapha sizing guide, the gloves are fairly small and snug. It fits very well, but maybe too well. Unfortunately I had taken the tag off when trying, otherwise, going a size up would be super helpful. My pinky is now in pain after some distances as it is so snug.
Otherwise, they are nice. Can withstand maybe around 7-8 degree C and above. Any lower I would need warm gloves as they are not all that wind proof.

Terrible quality
Broke after 3 rides. Terrible quality. I’m serious that I’ve only used them for road biking, nothing technical and one day my finger pokes out. Emailed rapha but no response
