Date: November 9, 2019

Start: Yarragon

Finish: Yarragon

The Rapha Prestige tasks small teams and individual riders with an unsupported and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain. Unsupported and unmarshalled, follow the provided route and pass through all the checkpoints.

The Route

Just 90 minutes’ drive from Melbourne in Eastern Victoria, Gippsland is home to some of the world’s best gravel riding. Working with an experienced route planner who knows the region well, we have tried to take in as many of them as possible on a 145-kilometre route with just over 2000 metres of climbing. All roads can be ridden on a road bike with wider tyres but most fun on a gravel-specific model. There will be checkpoint locations and a supplied route, which will be revealed only to confirmed participants 48 hours before the ride.

The Gravel Prestige Gippsland is a completely unsupported ride to be completed as part of a small team or as an individual. Each rider enters the event as an individual; please contact the organiser to enter as a team. You are responsible for navigation and all riders are expected to be self-sufficient. Minimum kit should include two tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit, and a masterlink. We highly recommend spare kit and nutrition. A paper cue sheet will be supplied as well as a .gpx file.
