Rapha Cap III recently bought two Rapha caps. One in the S/M size and one in the M/L size. My head measurement falls in between the two sizes. Despite that, I find the S/M size to be very snug, bordering on tight. I will be ordering the M/L from now on. The fabric used in both caps is of noticeably lighter weight than my previous Rapha caps have been. The lighter weight fabric will be fine for summer riding. But I do miss the heavier weight fabric for its durability and versatility in a wide range of temperatures. The overall quality of these caps appear to be quite good, as my previous caps have been and as I expect from Rapha products.

Disappointing return of Rapha Cap IIFor reasons no-one can understand, Rapha continue to change products that people like. Rapha caps were once indestructible with great (and consistent) fit - sadly no longer. The cap brim is brittle and breaks very easily - one ride and it snapped. It's being returned. The size of the M/L size is only good if you have a middle size head and bald, otherwise still insanely small. Not worth buying on sale IMHO.

Finally, a not-child sized hat.As what is possibly the most important Rapha release of the last few years, this (slightly) larger hat does not cause cerebral haemorrhaging when worn. Above average heads, rejoice!!
Very happy that I can finally wear a Rapha cap in some form of comfort. However, the elastic is still too taut in my opinion. A huge improvement, but not perfect. Still, THANK YOU for realising one size does not fit all.

Nicely made but runs small.Nicely made but sizing is smaller than past batches. This is clearly smaller than three other (same model) Rapha caps. M/L won't be comfortable for larger heads.

Too tight unless your head is made of wood/metalThe sizing of this cap is off. My head circumference is 3/4 inch less than the maximum range on the size chart. The caps should have fit and a previous version of the cap fit okay. I bought 2 of these and they were so tight that I had to cut the elastic and sew them back up. Even after cutting the elastic, the caps are maxed out. Other than that, the fabric is good and they look nice

Too smallNot bad material but extremely small. I’m a small medium in fitted hats but this was more of a kids size. I ended up cutting the elastic to get it to fit. Even then still tight.

Not ready for real cycling usageDid buy this cap because there was a choice in sizes. Took the large one. Fine for one run but after ending up in the washing machine (washed together with bib/shirts as I usually do) ready for the trash can. Very disappointed. Not to be used as under the helmet sweat keaper…
Hi, I’m 58 cm .. and wonder which size would fit the best. I don’t like hat to be loose but worried that cotton will shrink after washing… can you help? Thank you, Francesco
