1. » A Day in Hell - Manchester 2020

In light of the latest advice around the Covid-19 outbreak and in the interests of public health, A Day in Hell will be postponed. We will reschedule this event later in the year. All ticket holders will be sent details as soon as possible.

Rapha brings a taste of northern France to northern England, taking riders on a tour of Chesire’s toughest cobbled sectors in honour of Paris-Roubaix. Starting from our Clubhouse in St. Ann’s Passage, this challenging ride will take in several sectors of the rough stuff as well as three steep climbs, including the infamous Swiss Hill, before swinging back to Manchester. Please note that our tribute ride takes place on Saturday, 11th April as the Clubhouse will be closed on Easter Sunday. There will be no live screening of the Queen of the Classics following our event but we encourage you to watch the race at home. Having completed your own Day in Hell, you’ll have some idea of what the pros put themselves through en route to the velodrome.

What's Included

Limited edition cap

GPX file of the route provided in advance

Signposted off-road sectors

Feed stop on the route

Complimentary beer and frites at the finish

The Route

100 kilometres with 750 metres of climbing. For the romantics among us, the route is passable on a road bike but we recommend wider tyres. We will provide a GPX file of the route to all riders; a GPS computer is required since only the cobbled sectors will be signposted.

Secure your place

There are 75 places on this year’s event so move quickly to avoid missing the early break. All tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

NB. You cannot purchase events with other Rapha products. Please make sure your basket is empty to book this event.

Will there be a feed stop? - Yes, there will be a feed stop half way round with food served from the Rapha H-Van. Bars will be provided by Outdoor Provisions.

Is the ride supported? - There will be no mechanical support. All riders must be self-sufficient.

Can I park at Rapha Manchester? - No, there is no parking at Rapha Manchester, though there is more parking nearby in the city centre.
