Richard Sachs has been building bikes for as long as he has raced them. He started competing with the Connecticut Yankee Bicycle Club in 1974 and his framebuilding business became the team’s title sponsor seven years later. In the decades since, the team and the man behind it have become staples on the US cross scene, setting new benchmarks for on-track success and style. Designed specially for the team, this cotton cap keeps rain and low sun for your eyes on the race course and keeps your head warm if you’re just watching. The traditional quartered design features each of the team’s sponsors – all connected by craft and design – while an elasticated binding makes for a secure fit.
