Description
Streamlined RCC racing jersey fit for the pros
The Pro Team Aero Jersey is the fastest jersey Rapha has ever made, and is now available in RCC colours. Redesigned for 2016, this garment was developed using wind-tunnel sessions with professional riders from Team Sky and then ridden by them – often to victory – at the world’s greatest races.
As durable and functional as it is fast, the jersey distils all of the learnings made in the tunnel and at pro races into a supremely aerodynamic offering. Released exclusively to the RCC, the fabric of the jersey’s front and back is smooth and dense to help improve the passing air’s laminar flow while new longer sleeves made of a textured fabric create turbulent flow where the arms break the wind, enabling more efficient motion. The jersey is decorated with the RCC shield and Rapha logo, and has offset seam positioning combined with a minimal number of pattern pieces and close-fit. A performance-engineered jersey for uncompromising riders.
Please note: The sleeves of the RCC Pro Team Aero Jersey are tighter than previous versions of the jersey due to the less stretchy aerodynamic fabric.

Using a tape measure, take the total measurement around the fullest part of your chest, holding the tape horizontally.
2 WAIST
Run the tape around the narrowest part of your waist holding the tape horizontally.
3 HIPS
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest point of the hip, keeping the tape measure horizontal.

Improper Sizing & Material Selection.
Improper sizing & material selection make this jersey a little difficult to recommend. I purchased a size up from my regular 'classic' fit size, but this still wasn't enough! Additionally, the sleeve material is far too restrictive.
In the end I swapped out this 2016 version for a current year version where these issues have been fully resolved. The current version runs far closer to expected size (still upsize from your normal fit - which is to be expected in an 'aero' jersey and carries across the 'aero' range with Rapha), and the sleeves are incredibly comfortable while maintaining a nice, close fit.
I don't recommend the 2016 version, but I highly recommend the current year (2018) version.

Perfect fit!
As a skinny guy with a long torso it is refreshing to report that this jersey IS long enough for me without being too baggy. I bought a Large. It is like this was sized for me. It fits as tightly as my aero suit without giving me a “high water” effect where the jersey rises up enough to see my navel. The “sticky” elastic band on the bottom seem helps it stay in place and is an awesome addition. Can’t wait to race in it!

Elegant Design
This is my second aero jersey, and they are very snug and fast. Great for hammering. The fabric has strong compression, but is poorly breathable. It retains moisture during humid east coast riding.

Best Rapha jersey I've bought
The Aero cut is definitely my new favourite, love the tight arms and the cut around the middle (more snug than the old lightweight jersey). Also, can take a tumble (onto grass/sand).

Is this any longer than the regular race jersey? Also what's the different between this and the Pro Team Aero jersey? I find the race jersey a little loose round waist. Would either of the Aero Jersey get round that?
Hi, the body of this jersey is not longer than the race jersey. The arm are slightly longer. This RCC Aero Jersey is exactly the same as the Pro Team Aero Jersey and both have a slightly closer fit than the RCC Race Jersey.
