Description
Made from a fabric developed exclusively by Rapha, these high-performance knee warmers combine the natural performance properties of merino wool with a degree of Lycra for stretch and durability. They provide insulation, are highly breathable and also transfer moisture effectively. The fabric is quick-drying so the knee warmers can be used in a variety of conditions.

They keep their shape throughout even a long ride and that’s a good thing. They also stay warm if they get a bit sweaty and are much more odour-resistant than most synthetic fabrics.
There’s just the one seam and it’s flatlock stitched so you can’t even feel it and a silicone rubber gripper stops the top from slipping.

Do not buy - not fit for their purpose
Absolute rubbish - as useful as a set of ladies nylons. I love using wool for cycling garments, but these are very poorly designed and are too sheer for their intended purpose. Upon first wear, literally when pulling them up for the first time, my thumb went through them and created a massive hole. I’ve used cycling knee warmers for over 20 years and was applying regular force to adjust these into the right spot and so it wasn’t an issue of excessive force… incredibly disappointing. What’s worse, I can’t get anyone from Rapha support to acknowledge my issues. They’ve completely ghosted me. Do not buy, unless you’re prepared to treat them like a pair of nylons.

So adaptable
I bought these about 3 weeks ago and have already worn about 4x. Though I have other knee warmers these have already become my favorite. With the merino can keep you warm into the upper 40s f. and yet as the weather warms up on a long bike ride they are so breathable that they're still comfortable and you don't overheat. Yet so easy to remove, they are so well made. Not cheap but on sale make for an excellent purchase. Buy them. One of the best bike gear purchases I've ever made.

Very Good Product - Horrible Logistics.
The product is very good. Stays in its set position on long rides. The merino doesn't overheat as the temperatures warm. HOWEVER, it seems that Rapha has eliminated its US distribution center. Therefore, products ordered in the US are shipped from the UK. It took Rapha 10 days to fulfill the order and another 20 days for the product to arrive at my address in the US. It had to clear customs twice - first in the UK and second in the US. It is totally unacceptable to have to wait this long for this product.

Good quality and sober style
I bought it few weeks ago. The weather was not cold enough for a long bib and a bit too chilly for short ones. So i ordered those. Merino is perfect, quality perfect as usually for Rapha. One thing can be said in my case, merino is bit to much loose compared to the tightness of the elastic of the upper part. The plastic which make the contact to the skin can be shaffing a bit due this tightness. A size bigger can be tested but i don't want it to be too loose neither. So hard to find the good one. Anyway i am happy of it.

Nice fit
Previous knee warmer always seemed too tight but maybe it’s due to the merino but these fit me much better. The main benefit I found though is they are never too hot but give me that extra warmth for when when leg warmers are too much.

Leave it alone
Terrible product - my wife who is slender used this twice before it developed a fray and Rapha refused to address the issue. I cannot recommend this product and, in fact, would go so far as to say don't buy it. It is not to the usual Rapha quality standards and Rapha are less then helpful with addressing this.

Very nice and thin
I've used these for (the beginning of) early morning rides. They are very flexible and thin and therefore hou hardly notice them unlike with the longer bibs of which i find the fabric to be less forgiven whil riding.. They give enough warmth voor the knies and are easy to put on and off

What temperature range is the recommended use for these?
Hi there, the recommended temperature range would be 5 to 15°C, but this really depends on your personal preferences as well as riding conditions.

What do the sizing numbers refer to exactly? Inside leg from where? My inside leg PBH is a 95, not sure where that leaves me with these ranges of 91+ and 81-86. Thigh I imagine is width but at the bottom of bib shorts or the widest bit?
When measuring for the knee and leg warmer the width is measuring around the widest part of the thigh, just below the crotch. The warmers had a stretch and are designed to be worn snugly at the top of the thigh just below the crotch. Knee warmers will go to just below the calf muscle and lag warmers just above the ankle bone.
