A necessity for certain weather conditions
I'm still figuring out the ideal conditions to use the Pro Team Rain Jacket. I've used it a few times as a wind jacket around 50-55F with a base layer, but it still gets warm underneath. I am not sure it fits the bill for a wide range of conditions, but when there is a chance of getting cold and wet, it is a lifesaver.
It fits me well. I sized up from my Rapha Core size M. As others noted, the wrists are tight, which is okay for me. It packs down enough for a jersey pocket but without much room to spare.
I think my ideal jacket would have a tiny credit card pocket and a little more stretch.

Race fit - excellent performer
Very race fit, so remember that it is for sitting on a bike when you try it on first time (as it shall be tight when standing to be perfect on bike); Seems very breathable and waterproof = dry. Packs to OK size, probably not as small as shakedry (but that has been discontinued), but much more wear resistant. No pockets (as that is in what you have under this jacket). Have used for GRVL both in wet and dry (with open zip from bottom, not to boil-over) in Danish winter (+/- freezing, windy and wet/muddy). Dirt wipes off easy. Size L for male 179 cm/83 kg wide chest (normal size for my upper body)

Please rain!
Desperately waiting for rain to test out the waterproofing, but it's Gore-Tex so not expecting any issues on that front. So for sizing, I'm six foot (182cm) and 78kg bought Large. Fit is close and snug under the armpits but not overly so, fine with a cold weather jersey underneath. Sleeve length is excellent, runs down to where the wrist meets the hand. Wanted a rain jacket that unlike my old one didn't act as drogue chute when cycling into the breeze, this fits the bill perfectly. Nice and short at the front so when seated on bike doesn't create great sheets of surplus cloth while at the rear it fits well over the top of my backside.

Does exactly what it says. Keeps you dry
Awesome light packable gore tex jacket Size XL in Teal colour.
Pro's - Fit is good, i'm a slim 42 chest 33 waist. Large was too tight for me, I prefer more room for layering. Two way zip is ace for venting etc. Nice high collar keeps the neck warm and dry, unless really wet. DWR coating works well and rain on the jacket is still beading up.
Con's - The only downsides are no reflective trims other than RAPHA on the drop tail & no white band on the left arm which is a Rapha derigur signature IMHO. I notice the new colours for this winter (2022) other than Navy have no armband either ?? hence 4*

A must own rain jacket that actually works
I've now used this jacket a few times in the rain and it really does what it says on the tin, it's light, waterproof and breathable so you don't get rained on the inside by sweat like so many other rain jackets, to top it up with a double action zipper so easy to access pockets, I'm built closer to a crossfitter than a cyclist at 6"/183cm & 210lbs/95kg with broad shoulders and big arms, I got the size L as I'm size L in everything from Rapha and I don't like flappy cycling clothes, but I would recommend people try one size up as well.

Lightweight and genuinely waterproof
This is another one of those Rapha products where you get what you pay for. I have owned both the core rain jacket and the pro one and neither is waterproof - showerproof at best. This jacket is superb at keeping water out. The fit is close but not excessively tight. My only complaint would be that it feels tight under the armpits with another full length jersey underneath. You can fold it up and fit it in your back pockets so it really is an option to take on rides where you are unsure about the weather

Truly waterproof
I went bikepacking for 10 days with one of the Rapha classic rain jackets and while it helped, on days I was in the rain for several hours it did soak through. Not so with this jacket. Really does the trick with rain. No more fair weather road cycling. I also use it when I want to layer up and cut the wind a bit when it’s too cold for just a gilet overtop. The only thing it doesn’t help with is cleaning the muck off your bike when you get home

Proved itself through thunderstorm and hail
Had a riding trip in Italy in June and bought this jacket specifically just in case of rain. On a ride which went through Colle delle Finestre and Sestrie, it began to rain on the gravel section of Finestre. When I strarted to descend, it was pouring. Glad that I had this jacket with me as it kept my core dry and warm. When I was riding up to Sestrie, there was thunder and lighning. For 4km I experienced a thunderstorm which included hail. The jacket again kept me dry and warm. I dont think I will ever ride in such conditions again but needless to say, this jacket does the job in keeping out the wet while not overheating while climbing and keeping you warm when descending in adverse conditions.

Hello, I had to return a size medium Brevet Goretex jacket thst was very tight in the shoulders and chest, despite being perfect otherwise. Would a large Pro Team Goretex jacket have more room in the chest and shoulders?

Hi, I'm considering purchasing a Men's Pro Team Winter Jacket & a Pro Team GORE -TEX jacket. I tried the Winter Jacket in a small & it fits me like a jersey. In your opinion, could I wear the Pro GORE TEX over the top? If so would a small be too tight?
You certainly could wear the Pro Team Gore-Tex Rain Jacket over the top of your Winter Jacket, although you would need to size up to a medium as it's designed for a very close fit, and would not accommodate such thick layering in your usual size.

We currently do not have plans to release a hi-vis pink color of this but we do release new colors with the changes in seasons, so we recommend checking back for new colors.

Hi, I’m athletic and cross train multi sports. I’m 174cm, 110cm chest, 91cm waist. Strong arms and shoulders. Which size do you recommend? Note: I have a few merino wool casual/urban cycling sweaters in L, no idea if these are comparable or not.
We recommend a size XL in this jacket as it has a tighter, race fit.

If you like the fit of the L Classic or Brevet Jerseys we recommend a size XL in this jacket. Please note that this jacket, as it is part of our Pro Team line, is mean to be a more snug fit rather than a relaxed fit.
