The Rapha GT Shoes have been developed to offer a road shoe with traditional looks and modern performance, suitable for long days in the saddle. A stiff Easton® EC90 carbon fibre sole with replaceable heels is matched to a beautiful upper that combines durable calfskin with yak leather, a soft but highly durable hide renowned for its unique benefits including lightness, water resistance, breathability and superb tensile strength. The leather will wear in beautifully over time, becoming more unique and comfortable.
All-day comfort is assured with an adaptive cork/EVA footbed, which come complete with interchangeable arch supports to suit feet of different kinds. Luxury road cycling shoes built to perform and made to last.

- To maintain your GT Shoes effectively they should be cleaned regularly and nourished with Rapha Shoe Cream, made by Granger’s®. We also recommend using Rapha Shoe Trees (sold separately) to ensure the shoe keeps its shape
- When cleaning, remove footbeds to dry naturally
- Use a damp cloth to wipe excess road grime and water from the uppers
- Set the shoes on their sides to dry naturally
- Do not place shoes directly onto a heat source
- Do not machine wash
- Do not dry clean
- Do not tumble dry
- Once dry apply Rapha Shoe Cream, worked sparingly into the leather using a soft bristle brush

Comfortable but sizing an issue
Look great and are comfortable! I just rode 700km last week and comfortable all day. Looking pretty worn however.
Biggest issue is size. I went with guidance re my Mavic 42.6 being equivalent to Rapha 42.5 but my toes we touching the end (I am 42 in street shoes). Ordered the 43 and length is better but the increase in volume is massive particularly across the lower foot. In the smaller shoe the closures are only half closed on the lower foot, on the larger the strap overlaps the Velcro. Maybe this is a step up in last size between these two sizes. I have stuck with the larger and added footbed but less than ideal.
Recommended cream for shoes NOT available in Australia!

Fantastic shoe, need smaller size range
I've been looking for a leather and/or lace-up shoe for ages, and was excited when I saw these last year. However, I'm a size 38 (common for women), and the shoes start at size 39. This year, upon reading reviews that they run small, I gave it a shot. Alas, they are still too large and will go back. Why, Rapha, do you do so much to encourage women to ride but not offer any of your shoes smaller than size 39? I know several women I ride with who are between 37 - 38! I mentioned this to a Rapha employee two seasons ago, and he said that "we've heard that and need to work on it." Well? Two years later?? They are GREAT shoes, but we're not all 5'8". Please expand the size range. I'm rating low because for me, they're a no go.

Expect the best.
I've been a Rapha customer since the early days of 2008, so no real reason to expect anything but the best. However the reviews for the GT shoes were so 'glowing' I was curious to know just how much better could they possibly be?
Well, now I know that no-one exaggerated. These shoes are, in my opinion unparalleled for comfort and quality. The style and design quality matched my expectations, but the feel of the leather and the level of comfort is stunning. Subsequently I'm in no hurry to take them off post ride. No riding in necessary... style and comfort straight out of the box. Downside is I'm hooked and nothing else will do!

Worth every penny.
What a great cycling shoe. I had been contemplating the purchase of the GT shoe for quite a while, because my cycling shoes we're well past their use by date. I had read other reviews highlighting the comfort of the yak leather, and the stiff carbon sole delivering power to the pedals.
Well, I wasn't disappointed. Each shoe protected in a shoe bag. The wonderful aroma of the yak leather. The sizing spot on from the Rapha size chart. The comfit is remarkable, as others have described it is like wearing a comfy pair of slippers. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend the GT shoe.

Perfect fit
I was a bit sceptical about ordering shoes online, but my husband was very happy with his pair, so thought I would give it a go. The sizing guide on the website is spot on and the adjustable arch supports are great to get an inner sole that offers the right support and gets your foot in to the best position.
In terms of actually ride fit and comfort, the shoes are great - incredibly comfortable and excellent power transfer. My second ride in these shoes was a 3 hour slog in to a strong head wind for the entire ride - the only thing that didn't at at the end of the ride was my feet!

Great service on replacement shoes
Had a pair of gt shoes for last few years that have seen some serious mileage but broke a strap. Phone custom service and they replaced them with a new pair 40% off. Great service and an awesome shoe

Comfort with style
Love the styling isn’t overly fussy as seems to be the case with many cycling shoes. Was really unsure about size, I am a 38/39 or UK 5/6 in ordinary shoes and my foot length is 24cm. However, my existing shoes were a Mavic 39.5 and were slightly too long in the foot but according to Rapha’s size comparison chart, that put me at a Rapha 40-40.5. Decided to ring up for advice and was told 39 would probably be ok. They did fit, but only just and I felt that if my feet got a bit overheated they might feel too tight. Got the 39.5 and they are perfect. Very comfortable, plenty of room in the toe box - I have found other brands too shallow and therefore tend to restrict airflow causing numb toes! Had warm feet so far, with thin merino socks under shoe covers. Just hoping ventilation holes let enough air in during the summer.

Hi, this will depend on your foot shape as Sidi are usually a little bit more slender. Though we suggest you try in your regular cycling shoe size and should you need to exchange or refund, we have a 90 days return period for new/unused garments with tags and in saleable condition.

Hi, a 39.5 is usually best suited to a 25cm. 23.5cm would be best suited a 37.5, possibly a 38.

I have a 43 in the specialized sworks 6 road shoe. Would I stick with a 43 in the GT as well?

The Climbers Shoes and GT Shoes share the same last, so sizing up half a size would help
