Berlin is an easy-going international city with riding options in all directions. To the North, the vast forests of Barnim Nature Park, with countless lakes, river valleys and moors. To the West there’s the Krone to Havelchaussee, Berlin’s busiest cycling route, and Teufelsberg, or the Devil’s Mountain. To the South, beyond Schönefeld airport, flat open farmland and tree-lined roads. To the East, busy Müggelsee and its lido, before the rolling hills of Märksiche Schweiz.

Rapha Berlin is situated in Mitte, right in the heart of the city, part of a neighbourhood packed with iconic sights, superb restaurants and great shopping. We show racing throughout the year, live on the big screens, and run a full calendar of events, from workshops to talks, which everyone is welcome to attend.

Our café serves coffee and food to keep you fuelled for the day ahead. The Clubhouse is the home of the Berlin chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club (RCC) and provides a starting point for rides heading out of the city in all directions.

Film screening: Rapha Outskirts Episode 1

    Rapha Outskirts Episode 1

So often in our sport, the roads we ride are lost beyond our bars and beneath our wheels. They are our playgrounds, the scenes of our battles and settings for our journeys – loved or despised for the routes they cut and the memories they create. But for all they give, they are overlooked as a character in the stories of cycling.

If we were less concerned with the destination, who would we meet along the way, what communities would we discover, and how much more enjoyable would our riding be? If the play, the battle, the journey, was exchanged for the simple desire to explore the roads around us, what would we find?

This is the premise of Outskirts, a series of three films chronicling the experiences of a handful of riders – including World Tour professionals and renowned athletes – as they ride the length of some of the most famous roads in the world.

    Devil's Mountain

Rising above the canopy of the Grunewald Forest in West Berlin, on a manmade hillock 120m above sea level, sits an abandoned Cold War listening station. Field Station Berlin Teufelsberg became one of the most important listening stations of the Cold War despite being anything but discreet. Today the derelict domes have become a floodlit landmark, and the 1km climb to the top offers a challenging focal point for any ride. The emblem of the Berlin chapter of the Rapha Cycling Club and its Clubhouse, Rapha Berlin, is based on the main dome, in dedication to Berlin’s own Mont Ventoux.
