Not quite what I needed.
I needed a warm, wind proof, visible jersey for winter commutes & weekend rides. I was attracted to the concept of a high wool content jersey with a wind proof membrane. In reality the brevet jersey may be a bit light for my purpose: it is a very high quality garment, made to Rapha’s usual standards, however even with two layers of wool underneath the cold still pierced my torso. The colour is described as red but looks more brown. The rear & side pockets are versatile, the reflective stripes are reassuring, the fit was perfect. I may have been better with a winter wind proof training jersey or a brevet jersey/ gilet combination. This garment will serve me well in milder conditions; I can ride to work & wear it all day if necessary & I’ll continue to use it.

Great front protection and venting on the back
Finally found something for that 32F - 42F range. My core runs warm, but my chest gets cold so I need warmth and wind protection in the front and good venting in the back. This does it with the marino wool and wind protection on the front and marino only on the back, including the arms.
For reference, I ride in the Pro Team light weight vest for temps warmer than 42F and the Men's Classic Winter Jacket for temps below 32F. The vest is mesh in the back for venting and the Winter Jacket has front zippered vents that help me regulate temp. I use various base layers and jerseys for adjustments within the ranges. All of my base layers vent well on my back.

Decent item but a bit pricey at 175 Euro.
This is a pretty decent wind blocking long sleeve Jersey that almost feels like a light weight jacket. You can easily wear a base layer and long sleeve top under it. I would advocate adding a little bungie to the zipper as I have had two of the plastic tabs on Rapha windblock Jerseys snap off from less than normal use. Both occurred during my second season of use which was more than 12 months after purchase so I was SOL.
Rapha, you use to offer this also as a short sleeve wind blocker and I miss that you have discontinued this. I still have one and it is one of my go to items for cooler weather with arm warmers. Why?

Great jersey for chilly rides.
The fabric/materials that go into this jersey are super comfortable. I ride in Portland OR so I almost always need the extra layers and sleeves to stay warm which this jersey is great for. As far as fit goes, the chest is a little roomier than some other long sleeves I have worn, but this is definitely a benefit in my book as I have a slightly larger chest. A large fits me great and I'm 6'1", 185 lbs. Nice colors available.

Baggy for an L
It’s a nice jersey - I like the styling. On the bike it does the job fine too. Rapha size L works for me on all of the short sleeve tops (I have Brevet and Classic ones). For some reason this long sleeve one is a bit baggy. I decided to live with it because I suspect their size L would be too short in the arms. However, riders who like a really snug fit jersey would not be happy unless they are stockier than I am (6’ 1” 79kg). Oh - for the money you want it to be just right too. I’m giving it a 4/5 .. just.

It's really just OK
Not as good as I had hoped for. I'm in-between sizes which is frustrating and unusual for me and normally cycle clothing is stretchy enough to go down a half hsize but that didn't feel right in this case. It's just very slightly too big, just in the sense of a more relaxed fit and that translates to a slightly chilly feel to the garment without a baselayer. It's by no means a bad piece of clothing, it has multiple pockets and good arm length, but I just don't get that feel-good vibe when I wear it. I would say try it and see, it has many merits but it just isn't a "go to" item of clothing for me.

A truly versatile and extremely well made garment
This was the second Brevet long sleeve windblock jersey I purchased from Rapha, and well before the first is showing any signs of excessive wear. They are even the same colour - a very attractive Dark Olive. Why two? One may well wear out one day (though at 83 probably not before I do!), and I don't relish being without one. They form an integral part of my layering system. On a windy summer day it is comfortable to wear on its own. Come the autumn and its inbuilt 'stretch' allows a Rapha merino base layer and even another warmer long sleeve jersey, without it feeling tight. In the rain, a lightweight waterproof jacket worn as a fourth layer is not in the least restrictive. The Brevet Windblock jersey folds up incredibly small should it not be required whilst riding (and mine are both XXL) thanks to the weight of the Merino wool used, and the fact that the windproof panels are only fitted to the front of the arms and the chest, where they are most needed. With a neat fitting collar, two zipped side pockets and three spacious rear pockets, and reflective stripes across the chest and back, what more could one want. This is my favourite riding top. Thank you Rapha.

Multi-use jacket for cool weather / moist weather
Great jacket for cooler weather since it blocks wind in the front, but a merino back material breathes well but is warm. Fit is just right but not stretchy. Pockets with ring pulls are easily accessible. Only downside is that it doesn't pack that small, so it's too big to stow in a rear jersey pocket, and takes up room in a larger saddle bag.

Too heavy as a jersey, too light to be a jacket.
I haven't quite found the sweet spot in terms of usage for this jersey. I wore it on a pre-dawn ride with temps hovering around 7C (45F) and was freezing cold with the wind. The front facing fabric ended up just being cold against my skin with only a merino short sleeve base layer. At the end of my ride, it was 20C (68F) and I was sweating and hot in the jersey. It might work better with a long sleeve base layer, but then I'm wondering why a packable jacket might not be a better choice?

more of a jacket than jersey
I really like this garment, however I would not call it a jersey. It is loose fitting. Too loose fitting. In high wind conditions, it becomes a parachute. I recommend it as a jacket to be worn over a jersey. It’s compact and light enough to be take off and stuffed into a back pocket. I like it more than the core jacket because if breathes. The core jacket has a tighter fit and is better in strong winds. If the Brevet ‘jersey’ was more tapered, it would be fantastic.

I want another!
This jersey is fantastic, I should have bought more! The jersey is something of a cross between a regular jersey and a windbreaker. It does a really good job blocking out the wind, but it isn't too hot thanks to the windblocking material being on just the chest and tops of the arms. I fall between sizes in most Rapha gear, sometimes wearing Medium and sometimes needing to go Large (mostly for pro gear). I'm 6'2 (188cm), and about 175lbs (79-80kg). I went medium in this and it fits great.

Nice jersey, but….
Warm, windproof merino blend top-not much more to ask for. Nice touches with pockets and well cut.
It’s not cheap, which made it really really disappointing to see an applied logo (not embroidered as usual) which not only took away from a treat piece but started to peel off after one wash (all instructions followed) I can’t see the reason in cheapening the top like this when other Brevet pieces are embroidered, and particularly at the price point. Will be contacting customer services…

The perfect jersey?!?!
Fantastic jersey. Looks sharp and feels amazing. I love the windblock front combined with the merino sides and back. This has been my go-to jersey for rides between 40 to 65 degrees (I pair with an insulated gilet or wind or rain jacket on the colder days). I highly recommend it!

Sizing is important
At 6'3" and in the Clydesdale category, it can be tough to find cycling clothing that fits well and functions. Sleeve length is important to me and Rapha is one company that meets that need. Sleeves are long enough to reach my wrists and also not pull up when in the drops. I ❤️ the added pockets with the ring pull zippers , they provide a great storage space for gels and are easily accessible even while rolling out the early season training miles. I don't remember any Rapha gear that has any flaws in craftsmanship. The addage; Buy once, cry once applies well to the brand. But the crying isn't because of the price, it's because you didn't buy Rapha sooner.

Versatile
I own a great number of Rapha items, this is one of my favorites. The wind block on the front makes it very versatile, cross between a jersey and jacket. The olive color is perfectly understated.

The best jersey in town
Good fabric (merino, polyester mix) with windresistant lining to front of sleeves and chest. This is my second one. Slightly long on the arms because I'm typically a medium, but get a large in this jersey because the front lining isn't stretchy and I've not got a washboard stomach. Extra zip pockets at the front, can use it as jersey or jacket - versatile.

Wind jersey
On first seeing it when I unwrapped I thought it was a bit on the thin side, but wearing it on my first ride, I was more than pleased how it performs as I live in the Fens which is very flat and often windy, fit was nice not to tight but not baggy, so true to size, reading other reviews regarding the sleeves being loose and flappy, they are definitely not a tight fit but more than comfortable, styling wise excellent as always from Rapha, I’ve worn this in 5 degrees with just a long sleeve base layer and it’s still nice and warm but not restrictive in any way… all in all this is one of my favourite jerseys.

Great return to form but tighter on the neck
It's my third brevet wind block jersey. It's as good as my first which I bought about 6 or 7 years ago and a lot better than the car crash that was introduced a few years ago which introduced zip pockets on the back which means everything including phones get sweaty. This version is a return to form. Five pockets in all including two zipped on the sides. Material is great - wore it with a thin merino base layer in 2 degrees and felt warm. Shower proof as well. Only slight niggle is it's tighter around the neck than my last two especially if wearing with a neck warmer - and my neck hasn't got bigger. I'm 5'9", weigh 89kgs and chose the large which fits really well - bar the neck.

A Jersey-Jacket for mild weather days
This Jersey is great for cold rides. I was greatly surprise for how accurate were the instructions, it keeps you warm at 2C with a good baselayer. Add a windstopper and one can ride comfortable to -3C. It is water repellent but don't expect it to keep you dry under a long rainy ride. The garment is not very stretchy. The reflective strips are perfect when riding with low light. I mark it however with 4 stars because the 2 front pockets are two small for normal hands, making difficult to pull/put something out/in of them, and it is even worst will full gloves. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with this jacket.

Spring/Fall go to
Absolutely love this piece. I find myself reaching for it on almost every ride this spring. Perfect when the temp is in the 40’s-50’s and you don’t expect much rain. Well thought out wind proofing in the front with a light breathable material in the back. Fits true to Rapha sizing, definitely not a race cut, but not loose enough to be annoying on the downhills. Highly recommend it!

A great piece for cool days with some wind
Bought this a few weeks ago so we are still in spring time but can get cold and cool temps. Its a great ls wind shirt but the fit is a little weird. I'm in between a large and a med because I'm build like a skier and mtb biker. over the fit is good but the arms are too long by about 2" but the rest of the product fits tight... So if your a med with long arms you're stoked.

Excellent piece of cycling kit
One of my favorite pieces of cycling kit. Been wearing this quite a bit lately as Chicago heads into fall. I'm 5' 8" and 170 lbs / 173 cm and 77 kg) and I bought the Large. I wear an XL in the Core Jersey but went for the L with this piece to ensure it wasn't a floppy fit. It fits perfectly, including over a Core jersey or a thin base layer t-shirt. Pockets are great, and it feels surprisingly breathable. I've been wearing it in temps from about 57F / 14C to about 67F / 20C and even as the day warms up it doesn't overheat you. Great piece!

Arms way too long
I really like the concept of this jersey and have been happy with all of my other Rapha purchases. Big but though, it just feels odd and the sleeves are so ridiculously long that it feels like it has been mismade. I wear a Large jersey in Rapha sizing and have longer than average arms, but the arms on this jersey are at least 2 inches longer than my normal fit. I am quite unhappy about this and plan to return it for something else.

Excellent, Versatile 3-Season Jersey
This jersey is well described in that it offers a relaxed fit that is very well suited for clicking off the miles in spring, fall, and yes, winter, too. If the weather is dry, it is comfortable from the low 40s to upper 50s, and the windblock layer does well to shield the wool, allowing the merino to work its magic. It breathes well, avoiding overheating, and any slack in the arms or chest does not translate to resistance or wind flap as you move along. To summarize, it was warmly comfortable without being too much. It’s a great and rather unique bit of kit.
As far as fit, my metrics are roughly 6’2” and 225 lbs, wear a 46” suit coat, 36” waist, and 37” shirt sleeves. I tried on both the XL and XXL and found the latter as a better relaxed fit for “non-race” riding. The sleeve length is great, especially when in the riding position.

Room for improvement
Generally i run a small in Rapha jerseys and medium in bibs. Bought this in a medium based on previous reviews. The body is a good fit, i wouldn't go for a small, but the neck is too tight to zip up comfortably. The arms are a bit loose and flap in the wind. It overheats on hills in around 7 degrees with a pro team base layer, but gets a bit chilly on the way down. Hard to know who this is aimed at, i guess if you're riding on the flat at endurance pace in single digit temperatures with a warm base layer, this might fit the bill.

Gorgeous
I bought the purple. Reminds me slightly of a jockeys silks. Amazing vibrant colour and the little pink accented logo is a great touch. Functionally very good, I’ve only used it in cool weather but seemed to do the job well. Wasn’t overly sweaty despite giving it some beans. Very happy

First ever purchase.
First thing I bought from Rapha. Always wore Assos, Castelli & Kalas (club kit).Must say not disappointed, very comfartable even in cool conditions. Went with the small 5ft6ins & 154lbs & it is a great fit in length & across the chest, med would deff would have been too loose.

Fantastic Jersey... But...
I find this one of Rapha's most versatile jerseys. Incredibly comfortable through a wide range of temperatures and while the front is windproof the back merino material breathes fantastically. The purple has had numerous people say how nice and noticable the colour is.
However... Ended up having to buy two sizes and still not 100% decided. I think the sizing of these has changed since I last bought one a couple of years ago. A small fits perfectly on the body when trying standing and crouching. It ends up a little baggy at the front when riding but the problem is the arms. Way to long and baggy from the elbows down. shoulders fit great as do the wrist elastic, just the mid arm is not tapered enough. Went down to an XS to get the sleeves to feel right. The compromise is the shoulders and body are nearly too tight given the front panels don't stretch but I'll make it work.
Otherwise a very nearly perfect all round Jersey.

Jersey or jacket? Not quite either.
I can't quite figure this jersey out. It's too loose to really feel like a long-sleeve jersey (even when wearing over a base layer), but if I wear it as a third-layer over a jersey and base layer, I overheat and end up riding around with this thing in my back pocket. I understand it IS a jersey, but it feels and fits like a jacket. I can't quite figure out what to do with it. Because I sweat a lot, I worry that the loose fit will leave me damp and chilly mid-ride. This is partly a me problem, as I bought this based on how cool the orange color looked (and it is a great color when I wear it) and didn't quite understand the fit of jersey I needed for my sweat-level and preferred type of riding. I, also, haven't felt it really cuts the wind in a meaningful way. I've since bought the brevet insulated gillet to get the extra layer I was hoping for here, without the overheating, and ease of packing it away when I no longer need it.

Good jersey
Brevet windblock jersey has been excellent formy use. I live in Finland, so you never know when you are gonna need a warmer jersey or even windblock. The jersey is warm and comfy, have just used a base layer underneath. Ordered XL size for me, 182cm / 100kg, fits perfectly. Abit of flapping on the arms, otherwise good fit. The more looser arms and such is more of Brevets feature i think, because its not ment to be an aero jersey, as it says in the description also. +++ for extra pockets!
