The velcro inside is actually for the supplier to insert and cover the aluminum stay that supports the construction - no practical consumer use. The loops on the inside give an opportunity to attach extra items over the top with bungee/para cord and/or other fitting straps - i.e. for some flip flops/jacket etc.

Each bike setup is different, but we recommend at least 8cm of free space on the seat post and around 20cm minimum between saddle and rear wheel. In regards to being carbon seat post safe - we always recommend using frame / seat post protection, as we cannot guarantee there will not be movement and are not in control of the various finishes of frames and seat posts. Due to the nature of bike packing and the possibility of dirt and gravel to get in between straps, that would be our recommendation.

No it doesn't have that functionality.

This bag is designed to fit directly to the bike and is its own drybag/harness system. It is not designed to be attached to a rear bag rack.

There is no specific light loop on the rear pack. Main reason is that the correct position is really hard to determine on a pack with a separate harness and dry bag. However, very much dependent on type of light used etc, the main (reflective) rear strap may give some options to attach a light to it. This is really dependent on the type of light used and how full the bag is, therefore we are not calling this out as a feature/option.
