Description

There are some tools a professional mechanic cannot do without, and a set of extremely high quality hex wrenches is one of them. To provide Rapha Cycling Club members with their own signature set, we’ve teamed up with leading manufacturer of tools and pumps SILCA to create this limited edition version of their ever-popular HX-One Tool Kit. Comprising a full set of precision S2 steel hex wrenches and bit drivers, this tool kit is for uncompromising home mechanics. With a custom Rapha Cycling Club crest inlaid, the transportable carry case is made from hard-wearing walnut wood and features a magnetic closure system. Each tool features RCC markings and has been treated with a powder coating for excellent grip. With a high tolerance steel body, each key accurately fits with hex bolts and fasteners to avoid rounding your screw heads. Refined by experienced toolmakers and available exclusively for RCC members, this tool kit is designed to last and makes a practical addition to any mechanic’s tool box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Legacy Tools This set goes beyond the category of 'tools' into the realm of art and beautiful design. As tools, I don't imagine they could be improved. Perfect tolerances, and incredibly strong. With the gorgeous routed case, these sit out on top of the work bench as a piece of art that I expect to pass along to another passionate cyclist when I'm old and can no longer pedal. They're a pleasure to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A work of art and my go-to tools! Even if you never used it, this would be a beautiful thing to own. After a couple of months the wood still smells delicious. As it is, for modern bike this set of hexes has almost everything you need and so are my go to tools at home. Of course, if you have a carbon frame or parts use a torque wrench for tightening those parts, but the shape, length, design and quantity of these makes them a pleasure to use the rest of the time. The torx and other bits that attach via the magnetic attachment are remarkably secure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Tools If you work on your own bike (and you should learn how), then having a sturdy set of tools makes it easier and more enjoyable. This collaboration between Silca and Rapha has given us several well-made products. This set is so pretty you will enjoy looking at it on your workbench as much as you will enjoy using it to turn fasteners. The wood box, with magnetic close looks like it will last a while. The anodized tools still look brand new after many months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing set of tools Great quality, as is Rapha. These arrive in a RCC black magnetic case, with your limited edition tool case inside. The wooden box is obvious high quality and smells lovely, with a quality magnetic catch system to keep your tools secure. The tools themselves are Silica, rebranded to be even better than before, what more is there to say?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great wrenches, but overpriced The title pretty much says it all. I'm a big fan of Silca and these are their standard wrenches with Rapha detailing. They work well.
