Incredible long distance comfort
These are by far the most comfortable pair of bibs I’ve ever used. Sized up for a more relaxed fit which I prefer for longer durations in the saddle. The high density pad is amazing and I’ve not worn anything that compares. I ride a 160 tempo Argo saddle and the pad works incredibly well with this set up. Well made, well fitting and are washing and wearing well. I like the leg length and the grippers are functional, not as nice as the grippers on the pro-team bibs but I can live with that. Shoulder straps are a perfect length and are soft and comfortable against the skin. So good bought another pair. These are gold dust

They don't make em like they used to.
So, I've bought these exact bibs about 2 years ago and have ridden and abused them (e.g. with 200 and 300km rides).
That old pair is still comfortable as hell, but I got caught in a crash last summer, which lead me to replacing them.
Now - I'm not sure what exactly happened, but the chammy on these bibs is now completely different - that comfort is basically absent. (And I say this after trying both bibs back and forth on similar training sessions - the old, torn one is WAY more comfortable despite its age)
Won't be buying these again - not sure where the quality disappeared to.

Ok Bibs
Bibs are ok, not very impressed with the leg grip size, which in comparison to other brands are small and thin which means the shorts ride up the leg whilst riding. The stitching on the chamois also started to cause chafing after long rides. The vinyl Rapha word mark that is emblazoned upon the side of the shorts doesn’t look like it will withstand the test of time and appears quite flimsy. Rapha standards seem to have slipped over the years and the attention to detail that once attracted me to the brand seems to have fallen by the wayside.

These are so comfortable for both long days out and shorter more intense training rides. the fabric is perfectly compressive where it needs to be and the material used around the straps is really breathable. the Pad in particular on the pro bibs is superb, I've previously only owned core and classic bibs which have totally acceptable chamois but the pad in the pro range is another level. The only reason they're not getting a 5 star is the leg gripper. im not sure if the gripper is different because these are training bibs so maybe its durability, but I find the way it finishes is a bit harsher and doesn't flow into the leg as well as the less intrusive leg grippers do. Overall though I love them and will be buying in black now as well.

A bit disappointed
I used my new Pro Team bib short and I'm a bit disappointed. I found a strong difference in the material of the same short model purchased in 2020 : the fabric was much thicker, stronger and containing. This 2023 model looks like the same "cheaper" fabric as my two Core Bib shorts purchased in 2018 and 2019 and which, in a short time, became unusable due to the fact that they wore out very quickly, which is the reason I subsequently decided to buy a superior quality (and price) short, the Pro Team. Let's me hope it doesn't do the same thing soon!

Done With Rapha Bibs
Bought these after 4 pairs of my PT2 bibs had the pad tear internally rendering them useless. Rapha seriously need to go back to Elastic Interface pads as their newer OEM ones are dire. The pad on these is very thick amd takes a bit of getting used to, but hopefully more durable. I like the fit, they are longer in the leg than I anticipated which is good. My hopes were high initially…
The reason for my low score is because the print cracked after one wash and the stitching has started to fail. Rapha’s bibs used to be legendary in terms of durability, but now last less rides than the previous ones did years. This isn’t a one off, I’m experiencing constant failures across a range of shorts, all of which come from a different region of manufacturing from the originals.
Customer services are absolutely incredible (always replace or refund), but at the end of the day i’d take bad service and quality products that actually last. Have switched to another brand that use Elastic Interface pads and (I suspect) Rapha’s original factory and they are superb.

Blue colorway presents differences
I'm a fan of the black PTT bibs in that they are durable, long-lasting, and have an amazing chamois. I decided to mix things up and purchase the blue version of these bibs. I was surprised to find that the blue fabric is not as thick and has more stretch than its black fabric counterpart (reminds me of the core line bib material). Additionally, the leg length was ~20mm longer (normal length option selected).

Good chamois, but too much fabric
First off these are very comfortable when its cool. However, I can't see myself wearing them in summer as there is a huge girdle of fabric coming quite high up all around the middrift which isn't very breathable. The weather has just started warming up and they're already pretty sweaty by the end of a ride. They'd be far too hot in summer.There's no need to for a huge swathe of thick fabric across the font of your stomach and certainly not such thick fabric.

I have a pair of pro team bib shorts II (long) in size XL that I have been very happy with but now need update Can you tell me how the pro team training AND classic bib compares to the "long" pro team shorts in terms of length (size XL)
The Pro Team Training Bibs are 4cm shorter (29cm inseam in size XL) in the legs and the Classic Bibs are 7cm shorter (26cm inseam in size XL) in the legs than the Pro Team Bib Shorts II - Long in a size XL which has a 33cm inseam.

Is the pad now the same size as the pro team training II pad, assuming the same size overall bibs across the two lines. Before the pro team training pad was a bit longer and wider than the pro team II and wanting to know how they now compare
