Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great quick release but disappointing overall I used to love Rapha shorts and wouldn’t wear anything else but have gone off them in last couple of years. These sadly won’t be persuading me back. They’re ok but given how much they cost I would expect them to be perfect. The pad is not the comfiest and is very bulky. I have had chafing on long rides - not something I normally suffer with. The sizing is also a bit off. I had to get a small for the legs to fit but then the shoulders have again rubbed by the end of a long ride. The quick release for comfort breaks is great and really easy to use. I keep these shorts for shorter rides now and they’re fine for that but overall I am disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice bibs but not perfect I really like these bibs but they aren't perfect and they are quite expensive. I love the clasp detail so I can easily remove them for a quick bathroom break and they look and feel quite nice. What I don't love is that the back straps and the clasp kind of stick out in the back (there's a big gap between my back and the strap itself.) It's a minor detail but I think it's good to know. I also have a short torso, small waist, and very wide hips. I like the race fit but I'm right on the border for sizes and could probably size up. However, the straps feel a little loose so sizing up might be weird (My waist is 26.5" and my hips are 39.5" I'm 5'3") I like the clasp in the back enough to probably buy them again.

Worn them for every ride since their purchase, so comfortable, great fit and quality and much admired colour. Chamois just right for any distance 40km to 100km plus rides and release at the back for quick pee stops is perfect.

I found my self always reaching for these since they are so convenient to unclip when your out riding! I’d love to see these in a short version. I’m 5’3 and these work for my height just fyi but a slightly shorter version might be more flattering

I have a bad shoulder so can’t fiddle around on the ride with normal bib shorts. I’m 75 years old and am just back from riding from the Channel to the Med over. 13 days. These shorts made it so much more pleasurable. Thank you!

The pad is amazing - used them on a 5 day tour which I hadn’t really done enough training for and zero issues! I can’t see me using any other shorts this summer

I ride w a camelbak on endurance rides/races.  Will that clasp hit against the canelbak and bother or rub?   anyone with ride experience with this?

This would depend on where the Camelback that you have hits your back. It should not be an irritation issue and we have not heard of this being a problem at all.

Could you give the measurements for the widest and smallest part of the chamois please. Some chamois pads are not wide enough for me.

This chamois measures 12cm at the at the nose and 23cm at the widest point at the back.

Hi I’ma short person.  5”2 137 lbs I’m weird size 38/39 chest and about 39 hips. I have tried on shorts and they ride down the belly in the front because a little belly fat friend recommended the detachable bibs. What size would I go to small or medium

How does the pad compare to the one in the Cargo shorts? I found that one to be too thick.

The Women's Detachable Bibs feature the Pro Team chamois with a thickness of Rear: 5/8mm (120 density) Front: 8mm (65 Density) The Women's Cargo Bib Shorts feature a chamois with a thickness of Rear: 8/11mm (120 density) Front: 8mm (65 Density) The Detachable Bibs' chamois is the least thick of the two.

The inseam length of these bibs in a size Medium is 24 cm and goes up or down from size to size by 0.5 cm
