Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday jersey for warm weather I ordered the lightweight jersey as a summer option after loving the traditional weight core jersey. The fit is great. I'm 5'8" and 135 lbs, and the small is perfect. I like that it appears fitted without feeling tight. The fabric is soft and comfy. I've done a couple rides already, and it wicks away sweat really well or pairs with a vest for descents / wind / rides over the GG Bridge. My one callout is that the lightweight jersey does not include a zipper, which is one reason I have historically preferred Rapha to other brands. Guessing it has something to do with the fabric type, but it would be nice to include that feature in subsequent seasons.

The males have to extra colors in the core light weight jersey (green +purple) I don’t think it’s fair females are limited then the men’s.

It did feel a bit loose across my chest/shoulders at first and I almost exchanged it for a smaller size; however I am really glad I didnt. I think as my other jerseys are aero i wasn't used it not being 100% skin tight. This is now actually my favourite jersey and i pick it over any other

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, good fir Lovely flattering fabric and comfy fit. I’ve heard that Rapha “runs small” but if anything the XS still feels quite roomy where in some other brands I don’t fit the XS. 5’4”, 115 lbs, 26” waist.

I am a fan of the core collection because it benefits from all the design features you expect in the higher end Rapha kit, but at a much more reasonable price point. I have a couple of pairs of core shorts and a core jersey, so purchased this top for my wife, confident that she would appreciate the understated look and the relaxed fit. I wasn't wrong as its been her first choice jersey over the summer months.

The fabric is thin and breathable, which makes it perfect for hot summer days. It is a bit more affordable than other jerseys but retains the high quality of Rapha products! I would recommend.

Core Lightweight vs Classic Flyweight? Other than the Classic having a more relaxed fit, what are the materiel and breathability differences?

The Lightweight and Flyweight jerseys are both designed for the hottest conditions, with the Flyweight being the lightest fabric and therefore most ideally suited to the hottest and humid of riding conditions. The Core collections are our entry-level collections and while excellent and useful, does not have the same advanced fabric of the more expensive version and it's a little less breathable when compared to the Flyweight.
