The jersey tailor-made for long-distance rides
The Brevet Jersey was first developed with a trio of Rapha staff taking on the historic Paris-Brest-Paris, in which riders battle to cover 1,200km, unsupported, in less than 90 hours. Their adventure not only necessitated a new category of jersey designed to resist the rigours of long-distance riding and but also provided the perfect testing ground in which to trial it. A series of prototypes worn during qualifying rides and the PBP itself have been refined to create the ultimate long-distance cycling jersey.
The jersey’s merino blend fabric has been chosen for its naturally wicking and antibacterial properties. Insulating against the cold yet breathable in the heat, the fabric is quick-drying, an advantage if you’re caught in the rain or want to wash your kit on an overnight trip. The reflective chest bands and arm stripe improve the visibility of your outfit when riding in low light conditions. Three generous rear pockets are supplemented by a zipped, mesh-lined cargo pocket on the chest. Together they provide ample storage for extra layers and supplies whilst the jersey’s construction ensures that cargo stays in place, even with fully loaded pockets. During a long day in the saddle, a poorly positioned seam or a rough stretch of fabric can be the difference between a great ride and an ordeal. Designed with comfort as a top priority, the Brevet Jersey is the perfect companion for your next cycling adventure.
