The Rapha Prestige tasks small amateur teams with an unsupported and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain. This year, for the first time, we’re giving RCC members a day of their own - allowing club mates to ride together whatever their chapter.
The rules are simple: start and finish as a team, and pass through all the checkpoints.
Comprised of river valleys and rolling hills, the Dales can be a tranquil place. However, it won’t be on Prestige day. This August, teams of cyclists will be taking to the Yorkshire Dales for an adventure through its rough terrain.
Prepare for approximately 140-170 kilometres of rolling terrain and expect to be on the bike for up to eight hours.
The exact route and details of the checkpoint locations will be revealed only to confirmed participants one week before the ride.
The Prestige Yorkshire is a completely unsupported ride to be completed by teams of four. To make sure you’re self-sufficient out on the road, ensure you’re prepared for anything by bringing along two tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit, and a masterlink. We highly recommend a spare kit and plenty of food.
