Description

The Premium Denim Jeans are designed to be extremely hard-wearing while maintaining optimum stretch for freedom of movement. Made from a solid-colour cotton that is stain resistant and fast-drying, both the fabric and construction have been carefully considered to withstand the rigours of city riding.

A reflective Rapha logo is printed inside the right leg, while hi-vis piping on the inside seam provides additional on-bike visibility when rolled up. A black cowhide leather patch on the outside waistband has a debossed Rapha logo. The jeans use a proprietary high-stretch 11.4oz denim, milled specifically for Rapha in Italy.

The cut of these Rapha City trousers is more generous than in previous seasons. For the perfect fit we recommend downsizing by one size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No gusset, still a quality jean Buyer beware, the labelling in the inside of these jeans does not match the description on the site. The slim cut jeans comes labelled 'original fit', to avoid massive confusion and unnecessary extended dialogue with customer service be aware. Having spoken to staff at the flagship store Rapha are aware of the issue (their word) but aren't really sharing information around that could mean a decent customer experience. Decent jeans though, even if the lack of gusset means that perineal discomfort is present when riding. If you don't intend to cycle in these you'll be fine...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect slim denims with style to boot! I hummed and haa'd for ages over these and just decided to get a pair. Friends had said that they are not like the previous models and I read some negative reviews, however, these are fantastic quality and the cut is perfect. I'm tall and slim and these fit me perfectly. The quality is in the details, the back pockets are inner lined with the softest material, the seams and stitching are not felt at all. If anything I would have liked a longer leg for turning up so that I can flash my sexy Rapha pink lining, and the front pockets could actually be deeper. I've read reviews that the pockets are deep, but actually they're not so deep. This is probably in keeping with the svelt look of Rapha.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Waist is ‘under sized’. Shrinkage after wash I normally wear 32” for other jeans brands (Levi’s etc). But this 32’ is really tight. After wash, I think it shrank further. Unwearable. I wore it pre-washed and the stretch is good, but the find the material too thick and coarse for humid SEAsia weather. Slim fit seems ok for my legs. 175cm /71kg. Unfortunately next size up is 34” and leg length is extra 2”. This is my 2nd jeans purchase from Rapha. 1st one being >8 years ago when Rapha launched its first iteration. That fabric was non stretch… and even coarser. Generally the waist is “smaller” than declared. Given that cyclists need to bend forward, strongly suggest Rapha size the waist slightly upwards for the same 32’. Just follow Levi’s standard :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality pant I do like these pants with one condition; they are very slim fitting, however they have enough stretch to still be comfortable. Was looking for a more stylish denim to wear while traveling. I'm 5'11'' and 155lbs and right about a 30" waist depending on cut. For these I would have liked a 31", but of course only available in 2" sizing. Also as a cyclist they're not a generously cut in the quad or calf, but then again it's the style. Other's have stated a gusset would be nice and I agree that it would have made them more comfortable for riding. I love the lined pockets, they are probably the highlight of these. All that said, I'd buy them again and wear them often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A tough wearing denim I have been riding these jeans for the past 2 weeks and have found the fit and cut to be great. Very ideal for commuter or road bike riding - pockets big and deep enough for phones, keys etc.. The fit is slim but not too tight and allows for plenty of stretch. The reflective logo is very handy and adds a nice style and look to the jeans. The material is very tough wearing and durable but surprisingly very comfortable on and when riding. The groin area is also nicely designed to help aid with the riding position and posture. I could ride in these for hours without any discomfort.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Messed with the fit! I've had a pair of Rapha jeans for 3-4 years and simply love them - the heavy stretch denim material, the great slim fit, everything. So I've slimmed down a bit and wanted to get a smaller size, and these new jeans are a complete departure. It's not denim anymore, and my calves won't even fit down the leg pipes! I love you Rapha, but bring back the original jeans!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than the previous Had a pair of Rapha jeans a couple of years back but weren’t the most comfortable pair. But again, clothings fit people differently, I guess that cutting just didn’t seem to suit me. I read the reviews on the range of jeans over the past few years and realized that they have made changes to the cutting, hence decided to give it another go. This range is way better and fits more comfortably. Always liked the pink piping inseams that differentiates Rapha from the rest. But ultimately for a good pair of jeans, it has to fit well. So far no complains. Just need to wear it more often to get it to that seasoned feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic, upgraded. I've lived in Rapha Jeans for a couple of years. Everything I love about the originals is present and correct - bombproof denim, reflective and hi vis details, deep pockets (under-rated in jeans to ride in) - but there is now more stretch for improved comfort on & off bike and a more modern tapered cut. They were good, now they're great.
