They come in black.
As point of comparision, I purchased these to complement the trail light pants that don't come in black. These serve the purpose of being comfy to ride in, smart enough for off the bike duties (maybe not the office but possible!) and pack small enough for a light tour. They are a little baggier than the trail light, have front pockets and benefit from DWR treament. Branding is stealthy.
Niggles:
The belt is fiddly.
Prefer the trail light version of the right side phone pocket that doesn't need zipping up to keep the phone secure.
The pull strings on the ankles are OK in use.
Overall, these do the job but please just release the trail light pants in black.

Really good but...
I like em. But...the snap to close the pants seems too effective. It is really hard to pop it open. It worries me that the fabric around it will tear as you try to unsnap it. And, I love bib shorts. These are not bibs (obviously) so you run the risk of having "plumbers' butt" (your rear end sticking out in the back). I've ordered a pair of suspenders to fix that problem. They really do easily double as walk around pants after a ride. I'm planning on using them for a winter bike tour (California version) so I won't need to pack pants to wear in the eves.

Good design aside..
Thoughtful design throughout aside the waist clip. It feels as if the fabric could be more stressed when releasing the clip. It feels a cheaper alternative for what is a great garment on or a more casual looking ‘cycling’ off the bike. Aside the reflective’Rapha’ on each leg. I’ll report back to see how the durability fares on daily commutes.

Great allrounders
Comfortable on and off the bike, with practical everyday and cycling specific pockets. Medium weight material has been good for spring/autumn cycling. Slightly disappointed the Explore trousers don't have the same integrated belt that the Trail trousers have.

This product is described as a pant, but it looks to me very much like a pair of trousers. Is there a technical difference between a pant and a pair of trousers? Looking at the photos it looks like maybe a pant doesn’t cover the ankles like trousers do?
There is not a technical difference between a pant and a pair of trousers. We use these terms interchangeably.
