Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent jersey, with a few flaws Pros: Nice style and nice fabric. Jersey pockets are really nice, especially like the secure zipper pocket. Not very aero, but a nice comfy sports jersey. Fits well across the chest (fitted but not compression like Lycra). Cons: Despite following wash instructions logo is peeling after first wash (printed chest logo), no response from Rapha on this. Arms have no silicone type grip inside, so rode up my arms when riding (you end up with super short crumpled sleeves just covering the shoulder/delt and not the bicep like they are cut) Similar story to the cut of the midriff, which also ride up and bunches.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Performance & Value This is my second Core jersey, and in many ways, it is an improvement over the original iteration. The fabric is a little lighter and more breathable, increasing comfort. For Southern California, the jersey can be worn with a base-layer and arm warmers in the winter and on cold mornings, while by it own it will work on all but the hottest of days. This jersey seems to be cut a little longer in the torso, but I only notice it when on the bike (and its strictly a visual thing). I am 6'2" (188cm) and 190 lbs (86 kg) with a 33" inseam (84cm). I bought a large and it is a comfortable, flattering fit. I could have fit into a medium, but my neck is too big to size down...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Fit As a man that doesn’t have a traditional cycling body, I appreciate the fit of the Core line very much. I am not as thin as most of the guys you see in Rapha models. With wider shoulders and thicker arms, I appreciate the longer sleeve length. Other brands are so short they end up by my arm pits after just a few minutes of riding. I also like that even though the Core range is more loose fit than Pro, it still holds to my body well and I don’t get saggy pockets when they are filled for longer rides. My only complaint is the lack of color ways. I’d really like to see more than four styles per year. Cheers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely entry jersey with premium feel A lovely quality jersey. The relaxed fit is comfy and the fabric is very nice The full length zip is useful, having the little top cover near the neck makes it much comfier. The rubberized rear doesn't stay in place as well as I'd hoped but it's not a big deal as the jersey fits well of the rack. The pockets are deeper than I'm used to but they are really secure and feel like they'll last and last with heavy items stowed. Overall very pleased, only way to get 5 stars would be a slightly lower price and slightly tighter fit on the arms. I used the rapha fit guide and I came out at a XXL but will soon be going for an XL or L if I keep my miles up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice jersey A very nice weight jersey but I just could not get the sizing to work for me (5' 9", 166 lb, regular build male rider). The Large was a bit too tight, and the Extra Large was just too roomy to look good on. Oh well, someone has to be borderline on the sizing, but its a bit disappointing as other manufacturer's jerseys typically fit better in a Medium size. I ended up exchanging the Large I ordered for an Extra Large but it is a bit on the loose side. If Rapha are reading these reviews then perhaps this disappointing experience might help future size and fit decisions for this jersey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Jersey, cant recommend enough Having migrated to an alternative brand I decided to try Rapha again and boy am I pleased I did. This Jersey is comfortable and feel great on the skin. A great colour too..I got light blue. I am 6.2" tall, 98kg 42" chest and circa 35" waist ordered XL, as that's what I usually wear. The fit is not tight at all and possibly a Large would have sufficed, especially as I'm looking to lose a couple of KGs...that said it fits great...just trying to give folks an idea of sizing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well built, but maybe not the best for the tropics I bought a pair of core jerseys and so far they have not disappointed in any way, except the amount of moisture they collect. Living just off the equator in Southeast Asia, it's typically 30+C with 75+% humidity and the jersey seems to double in weight during my normal rides of 60-120km. I expect it would perform better in a more temperate climate, where the humidity is lower and the sweat can evaporate more effectively. Otherwise, fits well, has a good cut with nice pockets, and comfortable neck and sleeve lines. I would not recommend to a person in the tropics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jersey First Rapha jersey. To be honest, I had avoided Rapha for a while because the price is a little higher than what I’d typically spend. However, after a handful of rides in my Core jersey, I’m convinced that it is a great value. The fit is superb…it fits snug but doesn’t feel tight like a compression shirt…exactly where I want to be. The material is breathable but has a nice amount of stretch, color is nice, quality is great…I can tell I’ll get plenty of use out if the jersey. Long story short, if you are more interested in a jersey that is comfortable and fits right…vs having your favorite beer’s logo on it…give this a try.

Is Navy Marl jersey same colour as Dark Navy bibs?

It appears you're right on the cusp of our XXL in the Core Jersey. I recommend trying one on and determining if it is suitable.
