Description

Work hard, play hard, and ride hard too with the Commuter T-shirt. This robust, lightweight layer is designed specifically for the rigours of riding to work. Made for riding in warmer weather and inner city heat, the t-shirt makes use of a 105gsm polyester fabric that breathes well and wicks sweat efficiently to keep you dry. The cut is the same as our Technical T-Shirt but the new fabric offers a little more fluidity to keep you cooler for longer. Stretch side panels make for a close but comfortable fit and an antibacterial treatment prevents odours during extended use. Despite being lightweight, the t-shirt is made to last with a robust construction that will stand up to regular use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect shirt Best shirt I ever wore. Smooth to the touch, fast drying, lightweight and packable. Had to buy five. One thing is weird about the design though, and that is having the reflective patch on the right side, seen from behind, which suits UK and a few others driving on the opposite side of the road from everyone else. I bet +90% of people riding in this shirt should have it on the other side..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So good I bought it in...most colours I own these in several colours, and there are some minor differences in each (thickness is the main difference) but barely noticeable. Easily my favourite technical t-shirts for commuting or riding casually in. (If I ride casually and slower then maybe the merino t-shirts are preferable, but otherwise it's the commuter t-shirt every time.) The reflective pattern is still subtle enough that these work in town or even at the office. The length of the shirt and sleeves is perfect and on-par with a typical t-shirt in the chosen size. (It is much better than the Technical T-Shirt, which has short sleeves and a length that doesn't work to stand up in, let alone ride in.)

Size-wise, runs a size large. I typically take a Large in Rapha jerseys, but would fit a Medium in the Commuter Reflective T-Shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bike Packing on bike shirt I bought this shirt to wear while bike packing - traditional bike jerseys are bulky and heavy (do not need pockets or jersey while bike packing) as both weight and space is limited. This shirt was briht so cars could see me, light weight, dried extremely fast and was very comfortable. Wearing off bike was comfortable as well. First Rapha gear I have purchased, not super expensive compared to other comparable products and I was extremely happy.

Good quality and have stood up to the daily wash well. I buy a medium and it's a good fit without being too tight or baggy. Would be very happy if they made a version of this with a zipped pocket in the back.

The weak link in your products is that your staple Jersey and jackets are waaay too dark and muted. The core jersey lineup has only one hi viz color. My wife commented on the red/maroon core jersey and said “it’s as though the people that make these products don’t ride themselves.” I know that is not true but.......

Does this T-shirt fit/cooperate with the core cargo bib shorts?

The t-shirt isn't included in the same collection as the Core cargo bib shorts however the combination of the two items worn together makes a very comfortable set of kit from gravel rides to commuting rides.
