Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1200 mile test They arrived just in time for my ride to Scotland and back, a ride of around 1200 miles. Worn everyday, I rode in them, walked to food shops and at times slept in them during my bike packing trip. A fair test I think don’t you, these bibs are comfortable and there was no skin irritation at all during my adventure. So comfortable I continue to wear them locally and love the style of the blue with the reflective bits to improve visibility. The small pocket! Yes I doubted it’s use and now wouldn’t be without it, in goes the garmim after a ride, in goes the phone or atm card and in goes the gloves at the coffee stop. Why not try them I thought and I’m very happy that I did.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Fitting Bibs. Lovely shorts! Excellent fit and really nice feeling material. Slightly thicker feeling lycra than my usual go to Pro-Team shorts but still didn't feel overly warm in the middle of summer or whilst using in Spain. The rest of the shorts feel very lightweight. The leg pocket is very handy but why on only one leg is bizarre.... Could really have done with the pockets on both legs. I'm usually a medium in Pro-Team bibs but as these are more of a classic cut sized down to a small and the fit is perfect for me. Overall despite only one handy leg pocket these get a 5 as they've been so comfortable last season and will get many outing this year too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Bibs I've been trying out different bibs from various companies. I judge all of them by fit, quality and feel. Rapha always beats them in all three categories. The quality is superb. Some of my Rapha bibs were bought pre-pandemic and I'm still using them. The fit is great especially around the groin region (not too tight, not loose and they don't look lopsided). And the feel...nice and soft. So why four stars? I'm a short guy, and these things always run a little long for my legs. Not terribly, but I like my bibs to stop a couple of inches above the knee. Rapha, please bring back the short inseams option. Not everybody is tall and skinny like a model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite bibs I picked these up prior to riding the Open Range 200k Gravel Race in Kansas. I am so happy I did. I have Core and Pro bibs and have been very happy with them. However, these Brevet Bibs are next level. I love that they also have the cargo pocket. It is really handy for snacks on the go vs reaching around to your back. The padding will keep you comfortable all day. I have some 12+ hour rides in them now and I have never been happier. I ended up picking up a 2nd pair last week in a different color. They have been hands down amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favourites The first time I tried these on, I felt like someone had given me a hug. The pocket is excellent for easy to access food, and saves trying to fumble around in your back pocket - always a task if you have a gillet and arm warmers stashed in there after an early start. The straps are comfortable and not too tight, but still prevent the pad from moving around. And of course, the pad... legendary. These are my first choice of shorts for longer rides, and I've done 8hr+ rides in them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely made, good quality bib shorts These are good all round bibs. Especially if you're under 6 foot, as they're shorter in the leg than the current Classic bib shorts (I'm 5:10" and stocky and the Large fitted me well). They're good quality, the main material feeling similar to that of older Rapha Classic bib shorts. However, they're a little lighter with better, more comfortable uppers and a really good pad. If there's one thing that slightly niggles, it's that the bottom hem of the right leg just tends to bunch a tad where the very useful thigh pocket attaches, but this really is a very minor cosmetic thing - which isn't noticeable when riding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job perfectly Tried the cargo shorts and just too long in the leg for me which was frustrating but these fit perfectly and are just the right length for someone not over 5'8'. Wanted something with a leg pocket for storing Garmin, wallet etc when off the bike on long rides. Worn them for 100-600k rides and they just work eg you can just forget about your shorts and getting on dealing with the fun and pain of the ride. Love the pocket on the right hand side, works for me as a right handed person.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Last attempt on Rapha bibs This was the last bibshorts from Rapha that I will buy. Same as the Core Cargo, regular Cargo and other Brevet bibs, the stitches from the chamois is coming loose yet again. Seems a recurring problem which won’t be solved by investing in quality by Rapha. Unfortunate. Because the jerseys are the very best on the market. Already found a way better bib from 7Mesh. Way better chamois. Way better stitching. Way better compression. It leaves all brands so far behind.

I wear a small in the pro team training tights, would the sizing be the same for these bib shorts? Which bib shorts have the shortest in seam length as I am only 5’5”?

The size small in the Brevet bibs should be a comfortable fit. Typically, I recommend sticking with the same size from one line to the next. Do note the Brevet Bibs are slightly more relaxed than the pro team bibs, so you may consider this when ordering and trying on. The bibs with the shortest inseam are the Pro Team Training Bib Shorts with an inseam of 26cm in the size small.

How does the chamois compare to the Pro Team chamois?  Are they the same?

The chamois in each of these is different. The Pro Team Bibs feature a lightweight, dual-density chamois pad. The Brevet Bibs feature our most supportive chamois pad for all-day comfort when riding around the clock.
