Based on the bestselling Classic Jersey II, a product that has been in the Rapha collection since day one, the Classic Long Sleeve Jersey II features an innovative merino-wool-based fabric and comes in a range of beautiful colours.
Updated with an improved fit, bonding rather than stitching to save weight, and an all new, proprietary merino-based fabric, RPM190 (Rapha Performance Merino - the 190 indicates grams per square metre). Unlike generic merino-blends, RPM190 is light, soft, breathable and adaptable to a huge range of conditions, and while heavier than the fabric used in the short sleeve version, it is lighter than the fabric used in first iteration on the Long Sleeve Jersey. Offering excellent pocket support and comfort in a wide range of temperatures, RPM is the most versatile cycling fabric in the world.

Run the tape around the narrowest part of your waist holding the tape horizontally.

Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest point of the hip, keeping the tape measure horizontal.

Such a shame
I was thrilled when Rapha brought back the old gold colour, as I always thought it was the best of the bunch. Unfortunately the thinner sports wool is a dud. They claim it is warmer than the old material despite being thinner. It's not. I have several of the old jerseys, so I am comparing directly. I can wear the old ones in winter with one base layer. The new one I need two. Also, because it is thinner material, it feels a bit baggier. The medium doesn't fit like a glove anymore, whereas the old material does. A bit of a shame all round. Nice for shoulder season, but in my mind a long-sleeve jersey should be warm.

Excellent evolution
Have worn previous generation of long sleeve jersey and this latest does not disappoint. The lighter fabric is just as warm as the previous. Ordered the 'Old Gold' colour which matches photos very well and has a classic undertated look and feel. The pockets are a good size and work well the valuables pocket is not water resistant - which would be nice but not an issue. The sleeves are slightly on the long side which is good for keeping cool breezes away from wrists and arms. More classic colours like this please!

Great Jersey all around
Like the red color, fabric is super comfy. Got a L, usually do XL in pro sizes. 6'0" 175lbs. Great with bib shorts and a mesh Merino short sleeve baselayer on a ride in very windy but sunny 60-70F SF Bay CA weather.

Nice coloring, but sizing seems off
Love the bright red coloring, and wish Rapha would offer more bright colors in their classic lines. The material is comfy. Unfortunately, the fit seems a bit off. For context, I own a bunch of the classic 1 short and long sleeve jerseys and brevets, which all fit me perfectly. Also have the classic 2 short sleeve that fits well.
The fit on this classic 2 long sleeve jersey is somewhat loose in the chest, and the arms are too long, even when stretched out on the bike. I wear a 17/34 in dress shirts, and am a pretty big guy (for a cyclist) at 5'11 and 210 lbs.

Great fit
I bought the jersey a couple of weeks ago and so far I'm really pleased with my purchase. It's a great fit, I'm 6ft tall, 38 inch chest and the medium size is perfect. I particularly like the little draw string toggles either side to tighten the fit if required. I've used the jersey both when its still been quite mild and then today when its been cooler and I've felt really comfortable on either ride.

A lovely jersey - already a staple
This was the first Rapha product I bought and owned, having decided to invest in some decent kit shortly after starting out as a cyclist. After struggling to find jerseys that I liked and that were the right fit, I settled on this one. The classic fits me really well (5'11, 85kgs), and is full of nice and practical detailing. My only quibble is that I would have preferred being able to buy a black jersey with a white armband (available in other colours and the short-sleeve version) - the armband here is sublte. Overall, however, I love this jersey.

Nice but fit not perfect
I have two other Rapha items that fit great but this jersey isn’t quite as nice. A little baggy in the arms and waist.

Hello. I’m 195.85cm in height.100 cm chest and arm length and arm length is 67cm. What would you recommend?
Because fit is not just dependent on height and weight but mostly on each body shape and customer's personal preference to how customer's prefer garments to fit, it is hard for us to be exact in sizing advice. Though it seems as you may fit the Large.
Should you need to exchange or refund, we have a 90 days return period for new/unused garments with tags and in saleable condition.

I only have a few of your items to go on for size - I wear a medium base layer and it fits perfect and i have the classic winter jacket in XL - and its a little baggy in places. I would like this to fit snug - would I get away with a Large?

What is the wind-factored temperature range that garment is suited for, lower and upper range please
The can be worn in a variety of conditions. However, as we all regulate temperature differently it is hard to advice on the temperature range for individuals and differing exertion levels will also affect its properties.
