• Exploring new landscapes with riders who share your love of the sport - this is what it feels like to Escape. Small-scale, intimate getaways to some of the world’s best cycling destinations and attended by RCC members, our Escapes involve meticulously planned routes and itineraries, but leave the rest up to the rider. Are you ready to make your Escape?

OVERVIEW

• Arriving on October 14 and riding for two days, the club will explore the varied landscapes and stunning mountains around the mysterious city of Okazaki on routes planned and led by local Ride Leaders and Rapha staff. With a sociable warm up ride on the first day followed by dinner of delicious local cuisine, and a variety of routes on day two to suit all levels, prepare to cover a total of 120 km with 1500m of elevation. The exact routes and trip details will be revealed closer to the event date.

THE RULES

• Escape Okazaki is a riding getaway to be completed by a group of self-sufficient yet supportive cyclists. To ensure you’re ready for the ride, be sure to bring along two spare tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit and a masterlink. We also highly recommend bringing a spare kit and plenty of ride food.
