Rated 5 de 5 de par Amazing, amazing, brilliant I had a first generation classic Softshell, which was ok. But, I’m 6’ and 68kg, and found it to big. This however is spot on and is brilliant from -2 up to 10 degrees or more. Fit wise it’s typical Proteam, but a medium is spot on for me. 29” waist and 36-37 inch chest. Just buy it.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Yep Top class from rapha here. I bought this and an Assos winter jacket to replace my old battered winter attire and I only wear this rapha top now. I’ve put over 1500 miles in with this jacket over winter in conditions between 10 degrees and -3 and it’s been perfect every time. I was a little sceptical when I saw how thin and compact it was but the quality of the wind stopper fabric keep out the cold and your body stays nice and warm. Race fit too is great - I’m 5 ft 11 - 72 kg and Medium is spot on.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Nice and light weather resistant top This is yet another nice product out-of-the Pro Team-productline. I love it and use it primarily when training in temperatures just above freezing conditions. It feels great and the fit is excellent and makes me feel fast when riding my bike.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Comfy, functional Haven't had it out in the wet yet but great in SF on a cool morning around 40f with a long sleeve base layer. Zip wrist cuffs are nice. A higher neck similar to the height of the pro team light weight vest would be an improvement. Aquamarine color is great.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Extremely Versatile Bought this jacket as a dry day Autumn and Winter jacket and so far have not been dissapointed, although i have been wearing a warm base layer on the chillier days. Only caught in light rain showers so far and I have remained dry. Excellent fit in the body but sleeves are just 1/2 an inch too long. Brilliant piece of kit

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great light weight jacket for the coldest days I have been using this for several weeks, and have worn it in temps down into the mid 20's F without any issues.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Does it all! Had my eye on this for a while, as a replacement for my Rapha Winter Jersey. I've worn it twice now, both at temperatures between freezing and 5 degrees c. Second ride was in pretty heavy rain too; the rain just beaded and rolled off. I used a long sleeve merino base layer underneath, and a second vest style thermal base layer under that, and the temperature control was perfect on a two hour ride. I love the cuff zips; makes getting gloves on and off a doddle. As with other reviewers, I just undo the main zip a bit on the climbs. The fit is spot on, but do bear in mind it is not a Brevet item so the pockets are not that capacious. On dirty roads with no mudgaurds, the PVC panel on the middle pocket means I've just been able to wipe clean and not needed to wash it every ride. Overall I'm very happy with this item, and it will be my go to piece of kit for autumn / winter riding.

After several machine waches the durable hydrophobic surface is decreased. How can this be restored?

Please treat with Rapha Reproofer that will reinvigorate your Jackets waterproof qualities

Hello. I Have a P T Insulated Jacket XL very good and warm but not waterproof. Can I fold this cape enough to put in the Insulated jacket rear pocket and will a XL size fit over a XL Insulate Jacket?

Posée par: PeterBoyler
While the Pro Team Insulated Jacket would be lightweight enough to fold into the back pocket of a Jacket or Jersey, the Pro Team Softshell or Race Cape would not fit well over the top of the Insulated Jacket

Hello, what is the breathibility of the jacket in RET or in MVP ? What is the difference between the Pro team softshell Jacket and the Classic Winter ?

Posée par: Manolete91
Hi, both these jackets have the same electro-spun membrane which has a 5,000mm W/P protection. The Pro Team has three-ply membrane features in the front and arms, while the rear panel is designed to aid heat transfer, ensuring that you regulate temperature better when riding at tempo and harder intervals. The construction of this jacket does ensure similar waterproof properties, but the Classic Winter Jacket is more waterproof as the entire jacket uses the Powershield material.

Does this have the same dimensions as the race cape - ordered race cape but the arms are to long and neck in medium are to big - arms and neck perfect in small but chest to tight. Thank you

Posée par: KevinA
Hi, this garment is different and dimensions will be relatively similar but not equal to the race cape. And as it is a completely different material it will also fit differently. This is one garment worth having in a winter wardrobe so should you purchase one and not like it we do have a 90 days free returns policy for garments being returned new/unused with tags and in saleable condition.

I wear a size M in the Core Jersey...what would be the best size for this for me? Thanks!

Posée par: JimFernandez
A medium would be a good choice based on your previous purchases, but worth checking your chest size in the sizing guide to be sure

What is the temperature range of this jacket ?  Which jacket is more suitable for cold winter conditions the Pro Team Softshell or the Pro Team Training Jacket ?

Posée par: QuerubinRebelde
This Jacket is suitable for riding in temperatures between 0 and 15 degrees Celsius. Both Jackets are suitable for Cold weather riding, but the Softshell is probably better suited to cold dry training, whereas the Training Jacket is more versatile and suited to changeable weather conditions

How come Rapha doesn't have a similar product outside of the Pro Line? the classic softshell never came back.....

Posée par: AdamG
The Classic Winter Jacket combined the benefits of the Softshell and the Hardshell together in one garment.

Hi I was just wondering if the fabric is the same throughout the jacket or does it only have powershield membrane on the front and arms of the jacket, also if it is using the same membrane as the classic winter jacket will it offer similar waterproofing
