Compact bar bag. typical excellent Rapha style!
Some bar bags offer a lot of room, but that leads to more weight. This smaller bag allows you to carry some essentials with easy access. I carried my ID, a mini wallet, phone, advil, a spare tube, a small charger, battery pack, charge cables for phone and bike computer and a gilet & arm warmers, with room to spare for some extra gels on a long brevet.

Perfect bar bag
I waited too long to get one of these bar bags when they were first available, and when I saw them again I jumped at the chance to get one. I am so glad I did. The bage fit perfectly on my bike and I use it to hold my phone--the front pocket will just fit a phone, cash and key tucked into the Rapha Large Rainproof Essentials Case--the main pocket its pretty large and will hold plenty of snacks, a small lock or packable jacket. It unclips easily and can can be carried over the shoulder.

First and only bar bag I will purchase!
Because I am not a fan of saddle bags and there is too much discomfort in stuffing your back pockets with everything you'll need for a 3+ hour ride, I began my search for a bar bag. I went with this bag because of its reputation and its minimalist design.
This bag is compact yet spacious, rugged yet classy. Very happy with this purchase and have no complaints so far.
The only reason for 4/5 stars is because my Garmin mount being right over the bag, makes it a TAD bit difficult in accessing the bag while riding. It is still possible to access, but it would be nice if the bag extended outward a bit more.

Sizable, secure
Great particularly for longer rides. I can fit snacks, cell, spare bandana and sunglass lenses, etc easily. Secures well to my handle bars, so the larger size is still not cumbersome. I appreciate that I can strap it down pretty snug, so if it's only half-full it doesn't feel like I have a hug empty bag acting as a windsail on the front of my bike. I haven't tried using it as an off-bike bag, but it seems like it'd function well for that. The included strap is quite hefty, so I'd recommend removing it from the bag if you aren't planning to use it. I purchased the green color, it is true to the listing picture and looks very nice. The zippers seem durable. They also don't jangle/tinkle as I'm riding, as I've had with some other bar bags.

Excellent for all-day rides
I love this bag. It's the perfect size for all-day rides. The adjustable straps allow it to work on most drop bars. I've ridden it on tarmac and rough gravel without issues. The position of the zippers allows for easy access while riding and the internal pockets make organization a breeze. I can fit two gravel tire tubes, tools, a banana, bars and gels, an extra layer, and a small wallet with room to spare. My only complaint is that the shoulder/hip strap hardware is quite heavy (but sturdy!). I don't see myself removing the bag often, so that won't be an issue.

A totally radical bar bag bro
Bought this Bar Bag after scrolling through Instagram and wanting to emulate various cycling influencers with the hip gravel look. I am neither hip nor do I own a gravel bike but I absolutely love my Rapha bar bag. I can now be found shredding the lanes of Hertfordshire, occasionally stopping to sit stylishly on my top tube and eat haribos which I can now handily store in my bag. The bag is surprisingly roomy with enough space for all of the snacks you could wish for. Never again will you suffer the burden of bulging jersey pockets! The quality of the product is excellent, the stitched Rapha branding on the front, as well as the ‘Pack light. Travel far.’ slogan in the front pocket are very easy on the eye. The shoulder strap supplied with the bag is a great touch, allowing you to carry your bag in with you at the café stop to spend all your money on extortionately priced flat whites. To conclude, the Rapha bar bag has changed my life. No longer am I the typical Lycra clad roadie, hunting KOMs in vain, with my Rapha bar bag I am an adventurer forging my way through the wilderness. Thank you Rapha ❤️

Quality product as expected - simply good.
Nicely finished and for a 2 litre bag it swallows lots of stuff - ideal for a long day out. Attaches quickly to handlebars and hangs nicely - stays put, no bouncing about - and with compartments easy to access.
I haven't tested its waterproofness but guess it might leak a bit - through the zip for example - in torrential rain. Haven't tested it as frame bag either.
I thought it was good value for money. My only tiny gripe is that I thought the shoulder strap was rather overdimensioned - too broad, too heavy (compared with bag), clunky buckles. - It's long though - so you don't have to carry it under your armpit... ;-)

Weak straps
This Bag is beautifully constructed, but after riding twice I realize the straps do not stay firmly in place and come loose. I do not recommend for gravel or bumpy roads.

Not water resistant even a little bit…. :(
Light shower for 5 minutes one ride, completely soaked the inside of this bag & my personal belongings. Which is completely unacceptable, it had my wallet & other valuables inside it. Which I had to all air dry…. Really the first Rapha product I’ve truly been disappointed in. Ended up returning it.

Far from Waterproof
All 3 stars go towards the design and quality. It fits small frames perfectly. I use it as my gadget bag for audax as I can charge from my hub. However as my £30 battery will tell you, it’s FAR from waterproof. In fact once water is in it doesn’t come out ruining anything not stored in a dry bag. So it fails badly for me and it’s intended purpose.

Nice bag
I found the bag is great for the riding that I do. I got to test the water resistance right at the first ride as it rained that whole day. My stuff inside the bag were safe and dry. I found the straps that bind it to the handlebars were only okay, could have been better, but I haven't experienced them detaching while riding yet so I guess that's a good sign. Would buy again if available once more.

Great for adventures
This bar is ideal for day-trips. I've been using it both on and off road and am able to take everything I need for a day in it (spare inner tube, tyre levers, multi-tool, puncture kit, spare jacket and food). The straps have been re-designed so no issues there either.

Great bag, let down by the straps
Bought this for a 5 day cycle in France. I use it attached to the top bar. The straps work loose whilst riding, so I’ll change them to Velcro ones but surely if this bag had been tested properly this would have been evident. Otherwise please with the internal space and size

Still not perfect
I really wanted to like this bag but I think the it's still not right. The straps continue to be awkward and velcro straps should be used instead. While the bag has a shape, it's somehow still floppy.
I think the bag is overly designed and could be made much simpler, like a Rickshaw bag.

Looks are deceiving
Very nice looking bar bag and very well constructed but looks can be deceiving. The straps are hopeless, they never stay tight and require endless adjustment, the headtube strap buckle rattled against your frame like ball bearings in a can, Velcro would be better. Although the bag is described as water resistant it isn’t, anything more than drizzle penetrates within minutes resulting in soaking wet contents. It’s a decent bag but for summer use only if you can be bothered to modify the straps.

Everything you need, no more no less.
I initially bought the waterproof bar pack and it didn't do the trick, since it didn't have zippers and the straps did not have buckles for quick release. So, I bought this bag and couldn't be happier. Nice quality, perfect size (large enough to pack everything you'd want to carry but not obnoxious), front pouch is perfect, keeps its form, and (in black at least) is subtle and not overly branded. The only knock is that it could be a little more water proof, but I rode it through heavy rain and snow and it did fine (not great, but fine). I'd highly recommend it.

It’s a bar bag and goes on the bars
Bought as an interim bag for shorter rough stuff rides and audaxes. Works well and fastens to the bar and steerer with no issues. Not easy to open whilst moving, more when stopped. Useful capacity to take spare jerkin, gloves and cap along with flapjack and jelly babies.
Kept things dry during a 75 mile rain sodden ride. Would recommend.

Perfect for every adventure!
Rapha Bar Bag:
I've been riding with this for approx. 2 weeks now since I saw a friend with one... I had to order it, even if it was just for the aesthetics of it.
However, as an amateur photographer, and someone who likes to prepare for any outcome, this is a must have accessory for your bike, I can't reccomend it enough and haven't removed it since.
It carries my compact camera with space surrounding, even enough room to squeeze a can of coke alongside it in the main compartment, not to forget it also has the zipper section at the front to accommodate puncture essentials and spare change for your coffee stops.
I truly believe the size of this is bang on for a daily bag, if you don't carry a camera, I'd say there's enough room for arm warmers, a lightweight jacket, puncture kit and even a sarnie! It has reflective features which don't stand out and ruin the looks in the daytime and a strap which can be fitted if you ever want to turn it into a man bag or handbag... Whatever takes your fancy...
Finally, after numerous rides and even getting caught out in a 10 mile downpour, I am confident this was water resistant to a high level as my electrical goods inside were protected!
For the cost, you'd be stupid not to get one!

Be wary of mounting on your frame
I brought this bag a few weeks ago and used it on my bike for the first time on the weekend. I liked the frame look but didn’t ever like about the damage it could cause. The clips damaged my frame taking the paint off in four different places and leaving a dint on the down tube. I think you should reconsider using plastic clips in the future and put Velcro

Fits well...but not waterproof.
The bag is a great design, fits everything I need and does not rattle or move when climbing out of the saddle or descending long gravel roads. I am a tad frustrated that after riding in the rain for 2.5 hours it was not fully waterproof any my change of clothing was soaked. My Rapha Pro Team Race Cape kept my riding outfit drier than the bag kept my change of clothing.

small bar-bag
Great design and the zip is in the right place allowing an out front mount to be used for Garmin and GoPro/ light mount
I would like a wider strap going over the bars as it comes loose on rough terrain.

Great Little Bar Bag!
Great little bag. The size is good, being a little wider means I don't have to struggle to fit things into it. I can easily add keys, phone, snacks, spare gilet and gloves. So I can go out with confidence knowing if I'm cold I have spare items, and if too warm, there is space for my rain jacket. It looks good too, and I've already been asked about it by a fellow cyclist. Wind resistance and weight isn't an issue and it means my jersey isn't stuffed with items and looks good too. I have tried other bags in the past, but my Rapha bag runs rings around them for style and quality. Very pleased.

nice bag - needs improvement
nice bag, surprisingly fits a lot in it and looks very smart. I'd be worried how long it'll last, been out on 2x long rides and can already tell its a product that will fade easily in the sunshine (black version). cross body strap is a bit strange, doesn't attach to the bag securely and will often come detached if not careful - body strap used rarely though so not a massive issue. not a bad product - plenty of room for improvement, looks smart though.

I bought two.
I was so impressed with this bar bag on my mountain bike that I thought I'd get another for my road bike . Easily straps on to the bars and is quick to take off, it sits nicely after adjusting the straps. There is a shoulder strap for carrying things when going into a shop/cafe if needed. I've got the beige on the Mtb and this orange on the road bike, the colour scheme goes nice with my green bike. Not sure of total waterproofness but I'd always put my wallet/ phone in a plastic bag as insurance. Overall very pleased,it's a nice size not looking to big and bulky but big enough for essentials.

Great (not so) little pack!
I’ve been using this bag as a frame pack and it fulfils that purpose perfectly for my needs - I was worried initially that it may be a bit deep in this position but it’s just about right. With its 2 litre capacity I’ve been able to pack in a jacket, energy tabs, keys, phone and multitool; without having to cram them in.
The material and zips appear to be very waterproof and let no water in during showers, and make it easy to clean when it gets muddy. It’s also easy to adjust with enough spare to fit any frame, I’d imagine.

Good for most handlebars just not mine
I purchased this for my gravel bike, Canyon Grail and it does not fit well with the double decker handlebars. So if you have a canyon grail with those bars and are thinking of purchasing this bag, just know it doesn’t really work out. The bag can’t sit straight it has to be tilted upwards

Great product
I really like this product. Very practical and convenient for longer rides. I now prefere much more to have all the food and supplies in the bag than in my jersey. I was a bit afraid of the strips to loosen as some people did suggest here in the reviews, but I have to say I do not experience such issues and that no matter the terrain I am biking, the bag stays save on its place, no loosening of the straps. Thumbs up.

Great size and shape
This bar bag is a great size and shape for those longer winter days out when I hate stuffing my jacket pockets with alternative gloves, food, a gilet, etc. The shape works better for me than a usual cylindrical bag.
There is one small ‘however’… it seems to have been designed and the strap placement optimised for integrated handlebars with no external cabling to get in the way. It doesn’t fit so well and the main compartment zip isn’t so accessible when fighting for space with cables and out-front computer mounts.

Great Bag with lots of room for snacks and layers.
Great Bar Bag - I have purchased a number of bar bags, trying to find the right size / right fit and this is the one. I noted a previous reviewer commented that the bag's zipper was not water proof but I did not encounter this problem even after 25 miles is a steady downpour. The two compartments work well - front smaller one for quick access of bars / gels and the larger for storage of extra layers. The shoulder strap is a great feature and can be used as a day bag (but I have not yet utilized that function, but I plan to). Overall a great addition to my cycle kit - thanks Rapha.
