Rapha Bidon - Large
Rated 5 de 5 por Gordito73 de Pretty good For reference, I ride 8000km/year in all conditions here in the Netherlands. Horizontal rain from high winds, frost etc are all part of it. No shoe covers ever kept me dry for longer than 90min. It's the same for these but they are by far the best I've had. I have Rapha shoe size 46 and Sidi 47 and in both cases the XL shoe covers fit very thightly. They are somewhat cumbersome to get on but they are snug. As others mentioned the upper part isn't as snug as it could be. In wet weather I put my leg warmers or long bib over them to slow down the leakage. Over, solid built, snug fit and fair hold up against wet weather. As for cold, it keeps the wind out nicely but if wet, cold and windy the cold gets in after about an hour.

Rated 5 de 5 por DavieT de Typical Rapha style and quality . On to my second pair now , the first had a right kicking last winter and were used in some truly awful North East Weather . They kept my feet warm and dry except in the very worst weather which to be fair nothing would have stopped . There well made , look great and fit well around your shoes . Mind there very tight and you need to be careful with the zip when zipping up . Overall another great Rapha product .

Rated 2 de 5 por DonnaBici de Well Made Oveshoes but Not as Warm as Expected The overshoes are made of a thick soft-shell fabric with taped seams, a rear waterproof zip and a reinforced base. They appear very well constructed and should last a long time. However, in use I've had cold feet wearing these in the above-freezing temperatures. In particular, when riding on wet roads I've found the toe area of the overshoes becomes saturated (plus shoes/socks underneath) and the subsequent windchill effect I've experienced has led to uncomfortably cold feet. For me, I feel that the use of soft-shell fabric is a flawed design for riding in wet and cold conditions. However, for riding in dry cool conditions the overshoes will work well since they are well insulated and fully windproof. Sizing is true to the size-guide, the fit is snug, aerodynamic but not uncomfortable.

Rated 1 de 5 por Lynskey de No rain protection I was so disappointed with these boots. Rapha claim rain protection but within 3 kms of starting a ride in the rain my feet were getting damp. In 5 kms they were soaked through and then started to get really chilly as once wet there was no wind protection either. I have a number of Rapha products that I love and do their job perfectly but these are not fit for purpose. I will still continue to buy other Rapha products such as jerseys and wind jackets which I've found to be excellent. can not recommend these to anyone though.

Rated 4 de 5 por sick de Keep your feet warm but get the size right Only ridden in cold weather but do a good job of keeping my feet war. Cant comment on ability to keep water out but do seem loose at the ankle when closed. Biggest issue though is sizing! I'm a UK8 so could have gone for a medium or large. Went for large which I think is probably the best option but they are still tight on the shoes and not easy to put on. Glad Ive not got bigger feet as they would be even tighter on the shoes. So summary is tight on shoes but slightly loose above - strange

Rated 3 de 5 por Mothy de Robust Overshoes Suffer with cold feet in the winter so bought a pair of these. Combined with a winter boot and wool sock they do the job. Not super toasty but OK after a wet 4 hours in 2 degC. One problem is that the size comes up small. In order to fit over a winter road boot it was necessary to go up a size - so 44 shoe = XL. The problem with this is that the overshoe is still tight and difficult to put on (OK once it's on and the process makes sure you've stretched before you ride...) but is then baggy around the lower leg. In short - material good, warmth/weather resistance good, fit poor. As this is a 'deep winter' overshoe I think it's reasonable to expect it to fit over winter road boots and this could be greatly improved.

Rated 5 de 5 por Honde003 de Finally, no more cold feet! I Bought these while it looked loike spring outside bust still was very cold. For years I have been looking for a way to avoid cold feet (alumiumfoil, double socks, overshoes). Nothing seemed to work. So I decided to give it one more try and I bought the deep winter overshoes from Rapha. Since then I went out for 5 - 6 rides with tempertures of -2 and 4 degrees Celcius). For the first time in my life as a "winter-cyclist", I could say that my feet where not frozen when I got home. So I am very happy with the ovbershoes! Perfect fit, however it is not that easy to put the overshoes on. So I leave them over my shoes til the next ride, save time! regs Jeroen

Rated 5 de 5 por nismosr de Works great My first Rapha Overshoe, I've been using my Descente Overshoe for years. Used it this past Sunday low 20's Temp in NJ .. keep my feet warm on par with my Descente shoe Cover. really surprise because the material is a little thinner than the descente, the edge of the cutaway at the bottom where the pedal goes has a piling already caught it from the cleats. maybe a reinforcement will help as well as the toe part too would be nice, reason I love the Descente. best feature I like is the rear zipper. Over all I love it ..

HI!!!! For a shoes numer 43 (10.5- 28.5) what size? M?
Hi, the size Medium usually fits up to a 43 depending on shoe shape as 43 falls just within the last size fit. I would suggest if your shoes are wide or have boas do try a Large and should you need to exchange or refund, we have a 90 days return period for new/unused garments with tags and in saleable condition.

If I am 42 euro, 26.5cm and struggle to get top of zip done up on my medium pro team overshoes, would you say size up to large in these?
A large would be a better choice of Overshoes based on your shoe sizing

What is the recommended advice as to washing and caring for these overshoes?
The ideal way to wash these overshoes is by putting in a rinse and spin cycle after riding to remove the debris and periodically treating with our Reproofer

I own a pair of cross shoes size 42.5, do these overshoes work with the cross shoes and if so what size overshoes should I get?
Due to the grip features on the sole of these shoes, the Overshoes would not be suitable for use

I'm a tourer and use rapha cross shoes which are excellent, so I'm looking for a winter overshoe. What would you recommend. I'm a size 45.5
The Deep Winter Overshoe is a durable and warm, but as we all regulate temperature differently it is hard to advice on the temperature range for individuals and differing exertion levels will also affect its properties.

Hi, I've got a pair of size 40 Rapha GT cycling shoes. Recently bought a pair of deep winter overshoes M. It fits the shoes well, but I couldn't do the zip right to the top and have left about an inche. Will you advise that I should get a L one? Thx
It may well be worth trying the Large if you are unable to fully engage the zip to the top of the run.
