INTRO

  • Exploring new landscapes with riders who share your love of the sport - this is what it feels like to Escape. Small-scale, intimate getaways to some of the world’s best cycling destinations and attended by RCC members, our Escapes involve meticulously planned routes and itineraries, but leave the rest up to the rider. Are you ready to make your Escape?

 

OVERVIEW

  • Arriving on 11th of August by 2pm and riding for 3 days, the club will explore the varied landscapes around Bormio, Southtirol on routes planned and led by local Ride Leaders and Rapha staff. Prepare to cover 250 km of mountainous with over 5500 metres of elevation. The exact routes and trip details will be revealed before you travel.

 

THE RULES

  • Escape Bormio is a riding getaway to be completed by a group of self-sufficient yet supportive cyclists. To ensure you’re ready for the ride, be sure to bring along two spare tubes, a multi-tool, a pump, a patch kit and a masterlink. We also highly recommend bringing a spare kit and plenty of ride food.

 

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

  • 3 road routes: Day1 - 50km / 1.000m of elevation Day2 - 120km / 3.000m of elevation Day3 - 80km / 1.500m of elevation
  • Support on the road with snacks and water
  • Ride leaders

  • Travel expenses
  • Bike and bag transfer
  • Accomodation
  • Meals

  • Groups: two groups/speeds: it's essential to feel comfortable riding in a group, own pace on major climbs - this is where you can go hard and challenge yourself or go steady without exhausting yourself.
