The perfect partner to our Pro Team Training Jersey, the pared-back styling and striking contrast logos make these bib shorts a staple of any serious cyclist’s wardrobe.

Based on our first Pro Team Bib Shorts – proven on the world stage at Grand Tours – these shorts make use of a new main fabric that offers support and compression through tough efforts. A new high-density Pro Team chamois pad keeps you comfortable as you tick off those training miles. Elastic, silicone-backed gripper keeps the shorts securely in place through the toughest efforts, and a breathable mesh upper keeps you cool when you’re working hard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stitching loose! Initially I was very pleased with the stitching, fit and design on the bibs I ordered. After several uses, the stitching on one pair began to come loose. I reached out to Rapha on three separate occasions, but to date I haven't received any help with the issue. I was on a ride just today and someone mentioned a long string hanging from my bibs. It was the stitching on the side of them coming loose. At approximately $180, I expect to at least get some type of feedback. I prefer not to leave bad reviews, but after receiving several emails asking for my response and no feedback from Rapha, I decided to go for it. Perhaps I will get an email back now. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good new features and some disappointing ones too When I read the reviews and details about these Bibs I was encouraged: an update to the original Pro Team Bibs.....I purchased these. Yes, nice new construction and materials and better compression in the legs BUT.....the bib straps are a failure in my opinion. The fit/length of the straps are not as elastic as the original Pro Team and as I pulled them on.....RIP of the threads in the straps!! I will take them to a tailor to re-stitch making sure that there is stretch as needed to pull them on. The straps too are substandard as compared to Giordana and Assos. Come on Rapha get your act together....these things twist into a string when they are on and don't lie flat. You can do better!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So close to perfect...but not quite 5’10”, 170 lbs, size medium. The lower half of these bibs are absolutely perfect. The leg is the right length, just compressive enough, and the pad is the best from Rapha that I’ve felt. The top half is where these need serious improvement. Specifically, the straps are too short, and the waist is too high (up past my bellybutton). I attempted to relieve myself mid-ride, and whilst fishing for my equipment, the inside stitching on the right strap popped near the waist. I’ll have them repaired if it becomes an issue, but it’s pretty disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best bib's ever. Amazing bibs, just amazing.. After reading other reviews, i honestly don't understand what's the problem with the straps or anything else really. Excellent padding, after 4+ hours on the saddle you're back is still ok for another 4. Perfect fit, tight as it should be, it's a pro team not a classic or core. I'm buying my 3rd pair of these now. The shorts i've been looking forever eve after trying others from Rapha and other prestige brands. You can use them both in summer or winter, and maybe if it gets to 30ºC plus, then you need some cooler bibs, but only in that case. Really glad that Rapha keep on betting on equipment made in Portugal, you can't beat portuguese manufacturing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great bib short These are a great bib short offering to the masses who want to dive into the Pro Team line without too steep of a price tag. They come with very secure leg grippers, a fantastic chamois, and snug straps. The straps are a bit too snug so don’t yank them too hard or you’ll rip the threads. They’re designed to stay in place and they certainly do that. You begin to not notice the shorts when you’re riding and you can focus on your cadence or scenery on your way to a nice coffee stop. The material is very nice and you get the Pro Team branding with the white logos on both side of the shorts. I’ll definitely be looking to grab a pair or two more of these shorts!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brilliant but for one detail Rapha, I could have easily been writing a 5 star review about how these bib shorts are the best bib shorts ever and congratulating you on on that achievement. The fabric is surprisingly amazing in wet weather, the leg grippers are perfect as is the slight compression in the leg. And the pad is the most comfortable pad in any pair of bib shorts. But the reason for only 3 stars is because of the annoyingly high waistband in the front of the shorts. It's unnecessarily high and inconveniences and complicates mid ride toilet brakes. If it wasn't for this detail i wouldn't hesitate to buy several pairs more.

Thicker and I think more compressive (fit smaller?) than the Pro Team II shorts but wanted to try these for the pad due to being advertised as higher density, and therefore ideal for 2020 lockdown miles on the turbo. Feel great overall and straps are soft and stretchy and the pad feels great. Could be that they're still so new but the pad does feel denser than other Rapha bibshorts (I've used all but the Cargo). I prefer the cleaner look of the Pro Team II shorts but got these on an offer for the same price as a full price Core pair so it was a no brainer. Very nice shorts spot on for what I wanted them to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fit & quality materials The fit is perfect for me, I went for medium and I'm 5.11, 32 waist, 31 inside leg 12.5 stone. The material is lovely quality with just the right leg length. They also look great. The straps are quite short while putting on but feel fine when on the bike. I'd have given 5 stars but I find the pad comfort could be better. I seem to get some slight discomfort on longer rides of 4hrs+ but this could be the pro team fit on me. Also the front could be lower for better access when taking a call of nature. Overall I really like these bibs but I think there are better long distance bibs out there if that's what you are looking for. Perfect for shorter days out however.

Hi Francis, Please be informed that the chamois is different. The Pro Team Bib Shorts II has perforated chamois pads, and the Training Bib Shorts don't.

How do these compare size wise to the pro team warm weather bibs you used to sell?

The Pro Team Training Bib Shorts feature a very slightly more relaxed fit than our standard Pro Team Bib Short II. While still slim fitting, they aim to provide a touch more comfort for working through your base miles and training for race season. The fabric is still light weight and very breathable, intended for training through warm weather

The main difference between these shorts and the Pro Team bib short is the materials used to construct them. The Pro Team bib short has upgraded and more technical materials.
