An introduction to the Rapha Prestige
The Rapha Prestige is not a race; it’s an unsupported, unsanctioned, and unmarshalled adventure across stunning terrain, and designed to bring out the camaraderie and suffering of road riding. The rules are simple, and the course is tough. Team members must ride and finish together, and have their brevet cards stamped at every checkpoint.
The Route
Approximately 100 (or more) miles and 10,000ft of climbing. Expect to be on the bike between 8-12 hours. The full route will be revealed to confirmed participants 48 hours before the ride.
Rules
This event is completely unsupported. You are responsible for keeping yourself and your team going. Minimum kit should include two tubes, multi-tool, pump, patch kit, and a few masterlinks. Highly recommended kit also includes spare food and clothing, a Garmin in addition to supplied cue sheets, and one spare tire per team.
Entry cost
US $200 per team, plus a case of beer per team for the Prestige after-party.
