Maghalie Rochette
A multi-talented, mud-spattered Canadian racing cross on another continent, Maghalie Rochette is a World Cup race winner determined to help get new beginners into her sport.

Maghalie started riding bikes at just four years old, but her sporting life hasn’t always been played out on two wheels. As a junior, she practiced every sport going before focusing on triathlon as a teenager. But when a persistent foot injury prevented progress there, Maghalie was introduced to the muddy world of cyclocross.
And she hasn't looked back since. Despite the initial difficulties of competing on another continent, Maghalie has recorded consistently strong results in Europe and exceptional ones in the North American rounds of the World Cup, including her first win at Iowa City in 2017.
“One of my biggest goals in life is to constantly grow and improve as a person, and cyclocross is the vehicle through which I learn and grow the most in the moment, and that’s why it means so much to me”

But competition is only ever a part of the picture for Maghalie who, with her CX Fever Fund and podcast is always trying to support the next generation of Canadian cyclocross riders. Away from cross, Maghalie also competes in XCO mountain bike events and to keep things sweet during her downtime, she’s also an avid beekeeper.

RASPUTITSA GRAVEL
Taking its name from the Russian for ‘mud season’, Raspitutsa is part bike race, part obstacle course. At only 40 miles in length, it might not seem too daunting but with sections of dirt that are impassable on a bike, the winner’s time is likely to be longer than you think.
