Description

Designed both for training and racing, the Women’s Classic Bib Shorts offer exceptional performance and comfort in a range of riding conditions.

Cut from a matt Lycra fabric (the same used in the regular Women’s Bib Shorts) that is both breathable and high wicking, the shorts use a chamois pad designed specifically for women and have a panelled construction to guarantee a superb fit. Flatlock stitching throughout means they won’t chafe, no matter how long or hard you ride.

The legs feature tonal Rapha logos and a new subtle, low profile, leg gripper that gives an improved fit.

The bib section is made from two different mesh fabrics, a close-knit mesh at the front to offer warmth and a breathable, open-knit mesh at the back. In warmer weather the bib section does away with the need for a base layer. Designed to be worn with the Medium Support Bra or the Light Support Bra, the back of the shorts also has a large cutaway section for maximum breathability.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sheer back panels I bought these to replace an older pair that I was having issues of sheerness with. I decided to buy the size up (S) this time around even though my measurements on the size chart put me at an XS. Unfortunately, with a different colour (black) and a size up it did not solve the sheerness issue in the back panels. I am going to have to return them as going another size up would have these bibs hanging off me so I am not quite sure whats going on quality/material. I love all my other Rapha gear and have had no past issues, but this is extremely disappointing as these are on the higher price end and to have the same issue twice is crazy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great performance, aesthetic issues Overall, I love these bibs. I am tall (5'10", 140 pounds) and these hit about 3/4 of the way down my thigh. They are very comfortable. The mesh on top is wonderful. Unfortunately, the logo-ing on the legs started crackling by my third wear (before washing them at all) which is SUPER disappointing at this price point as they already look a bit worn out and dingy. If they were cheaper bibs, it wouldn't bother me, but if I'm dropping this much money, I want my gear to look nice. All that being said, I have worn these for everything from group rides to centuries to races over the past month and they have served me well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed This is the first time I made a purchase from you and was disappointed. In the past I was always very satisfied. The color was supposed to be white and black but the "white" is a faded looking yellowish color. Were they sitting around the warehouse? I was looking for a new pair to replace Sky Team bib shorts I bought several years ago. I thought new shorts with fresh padding would improve comfort. However, I've never had a more uncomfortable ride as I did with my new bib shorts. I've been riding on a SMP Selle seat for about 4 years. Perhaps this is causing some of my discomfort. Is there a women specific seat you recommend?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first purcHse of Rapha - wow gorgeous fabric I bought this recently and wore it for the first time at the weekend. Wow it just glides on rather than feeling you are pulling your way in. I was a o excited to find something other than black. This is a lovely navy. The fit and comfort is brilliant which I've found difficult to source previously because I have a larger bust. The quality is amazing although I have caught the netting at the back on my sports bra which has caused a small rib which I'm really annoyed about.

The Women's Classic Bib Shorts II do not have any side pockets. For bib shorts with a side pocket we recommend either the Women's Cargo Bib Shorts.

Hi, are these bibs more for warmer or cooler weather? I am looking for bibs to wear throughout summer in sunny Brisbane (25-35degrees), usually wear the core bibs and they're great. Does the bodice of these classic bibs make these too hot for summer?

These Bibs are great all year bibs and will perform superbly in warmer weathers. The Upper Bodice is a lightweight material that will not increase body temperature

Out of all the bib shorts which one is the shortest in length?

Hi, out of all of the women's bib shorts, the Flyweight Bib Short in the short leg length will be the shortest available. Followed by the Classic Bib Shorts in short leg length. Though please note the shorter version is the least popular and therefore not as highly available as the regular.

Is the length of the inseam on the Classic bib shorts the same as the length of the regular Classic shorts?

Hi, the Classic Shorts (non-bib) in Regular are approximately 1.5 centimeters longer than the Classic Bib Shorts, the shorter version of the shorts are approximately 1 centimeter shorter than the bib shorts.
