Works well but stripes rub offf
I like the open/close valve but annoyed that the stripe is already worn on only my second ride following contact with a plastic bottle cage.

Works perfectly
After using pull up style water bottles for a few years, that stop working as they should after a few weeks, I decided to try the Rapha Camelback Brevet Bidons. They work so much better that I will never go back. Will have to see how they perform long term but so far it makes me wonder why you would buy anything else.

Looks nice
I bought the black and silver brevet bottles. They look perfect in my titanium and black bike, the camel back lid is well known and works perfectly.
I was disappointed however that in my cage, the bottle whilst held tight would rise out a bit over uneven surfaces, and every now and again I had to push it back in to not lose it.
Worse though is that after one 50 mile ride the silver print is wearing off.

The stripes on the bidons are not reflective but are a design feature.

What type of plastic are your bottles? Are they BPF and BPS free plastic bottles?
Hi, all our bottles are manufactured by Camelbak who state all bottles are 100% free of BPA, BPS and BPF.

Is it a camelbak bidon painted? Any feedback if they wear off is like the other bidons ?
Hi, all Rapha bidons are made for us by Camel. As all branded bidons they will be affected by usual road cycling wear as the bidons are slotted in and out of cages which get dusty during a ride.

Are the stripes reflective and hi vis? The product details just say they compliment the rest of the line.
