The route
Prepare for a big day in the saddle as you tackle a 55 mile route with over 3000 feet of climbing. The ride starts and finishes in Bentonville, AR, the base from which to explore the hills and mountains of Northwest Arkansas. Through a landscape of thick forests and deep river valleys, the route follows gravel tracks and chip sealed byways tackling some little known climbs en route.
The region
Despite boasting some of the highest peaks outside of the Rockies and the Appalachians, the Ozark Mountains are still an undiscovered cycling destination. With a new Pop-Up Clubhouse in Bentonville, Rapha aims to put the region firmly on the map. Bentonville boasts easy access to the mountain roads of the Ozarks as well as flat riding to the south, meaning there’s superb riding for cyclists of all abilities.
At the finish line
After riding on Saturday, you’re sure to have built up an appetite. At the finish line party, enjoy a farm to table meal prepared by a local chef and accompanied by locally brewed beer. Swap stories from the ride and join us later in the evening when we’ll have live music.
