Modular System
The Brevet collection is designed to be a modular system that can be layered up or down while on the bike, as conditions change. Our range of merino base- and mid-layers combine perfectly with waterproof and windproof outer shells to create an adaptable outfit for your longest days in the saddle.
Visibility
When required to ride through the night during ultra-endurance events, visibility is critical for staying seen and safe. The signature brevet strips incorporate hi-vis and reflective elements for improved visibility in low light. Crucially, reflective elements are strategically placed around moving body parts to help you stand out to other road users.
Comfort
Developed with the long haul in mind, this robust collection combines the best performance fabrics - including GORE-TEX Windstopper fabric and Rapha Performance Merino - to provide protection from the elements. On multi-day trips, our merino fabric is naturally odour resistant, anti-bacterial and quick drying, so you have one less thing to worry about when your legs are willing you to stop.
Storage
A five pocket construction on our Brevet Jerseys features three main pockets and two zipped pockets on the rear; ideal for stowing your packable layers and essentials. Developed after riding The Transcontinental, our Cargo bib shorts and tights have additional storage capacity on your lower back and legs for easy access to essentials.
We have all experienced the challenge of looking out of the window before a ride trying to predict which way the weather will turn. But when the ride you are embarking on consists of hundreds of kilometres, the futility of the exercise quickly becomes apparent and prediction soon turns to preparation.
In these instances, our mantra of Pack light, travel far comes to the fore. To be prepared is to have everything you will need and nothing you don’t, and ultimately good preparation comes from experience.
The Brevet collection was born out of participation in the pinnacle of randonée riding, Paris-Brest-Paris, and more recently, The Transcontinental. It is only through these experiences - the euphoria and the suffering - that you can truly understand what is required to be out there from dawn until dusk.
