    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not that warm, but more versatile because of it. This is a great jacket with decent wind-proofing on the front and arms and a lighter fleeced jersey back. Depending on where you live it might not be a 'winter jacket' though. Here in Switzerland I had to do some pretty serious layers for really cold winter days, and have even worn the Pro Team Insulated Gilet over the top, as the cold really comes in under the arms and down the sides. This does however mean you can wear this with a summer base layer in conditions up to about 10C without cooking. Fit is good for me in a M and I'm 180cm and 66kg, although the front finishes a bit unnecessarily high imo. Even for riding in the drops.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classy and very well made winter jacket. Very well made Jacket. I purchased the new green colour which looks very classy. I'm 6ft and do have a broad 44in chest so needed the xxl size. Fits well without being restrictive. I run quite cold in the winter months so anything around zero decrees and I also wear a rapha winter baselayer and rapha gilet with it as it is not a heavyweight winter jacket. For me it works very well in the 2-10 decrees with just the baselayer. It is not the best if you want exceptional windproofing but on the otherhand it breathes very well when pushing hard on the bike. Worth the money? I Would say yes.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fit for purpose I have worn this jacket every weekend throughout the winter months (albeit a warm winter so far) and have to say, it does the trick. I am skinny but 6' and had to return the large as it was just too big especially around the neck. The race fit means it is snug so this prevents flapping and acts like a draft excluder. I've worn this in several combos, with just a Rapha long sleeve base layer for the warmer days, a Rapha insulated gilet and then for cold wet weather I stick on the Rapha Gore-tex rain jacket. I'm aware we are all built differently and have our own way of layering up, but would recommend this jacket, worth trying on before you buy.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully Made Jacket Another lovely garment from Rapha. It provides more than adequate warmth on those colder rides and is indeed cut in the familiar Pro Team style. If you're wearing a long sleeve base layer underneath, pulling your arms through the sleeves is a bit of a challenge due to the type of material inside the PT Winter Jacket but that's no reason to pass on this. The zipper has a heavy robust feel and the pockets seem more reinforced as well. My only nit would be lack of underarm / side torso zippered vents that are on a heavier Rapha winter jacket I own. In lieu of that, temperature regulation is easily accomplished by raising and lowering the main zipper. I purchased the neon orange for visibility and simply love it.

Bought a medium at 5ft 6ins 148lb is perfect fit even if i had a couple layers underneath. Small fitted but it was skintight. Didn't think it was that windproof on a windy day but this was at a easy pace. feels good quality & like the fit but not really a deep winter jacket

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from The one to rule them all... I was tired of rolling out dark and early only to find myself cold through the ride even after the warm up. I wanted to find a winter jacket that wasn’t kinda warm, but indisputably warm - where I didn’t even need to think about how cold it is outside and make a guess at what to wear. This is that jacket. Usually the medium jackets fit me tight in the shoulder/ arm pits. This one does not - medium fits perfect. I love the higher race cut at the waist that doesn’t bunch up. Stays close to body so no flapping around at speed. Materials are lovely and craftsmanship is as expected from Rapha. It’s definitely warm so not great for longer weekend rides where the temps start to come up. But for an early morning smash fest - ideal. Layer as needed. I went with black. Not a huge fan of the other colors.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good working shell The jacket is really for riding, not for walks around. But the performance is absolutely great. Even I wear the Rapha long sleeve merino shirt, I can feel in a comfort zone close to 0. It has longer sleeves to fit over my gloves and I do appreciate it very. Wider access to pockets works also great, but the first of all I can confirm the material as a best protection I can have. With the Brevet vest I use it for any winter ride, and it works well. For Rapha brand lovers it a must for such a wet windy winter weather. But I also believe the jacket will work great during spring colder rides. And hey, the green color is not for everyone, but some chicks seem to be hooked by it ;-)

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Jacket for Autumn/Spring in Nordic Climate. Usage: Distance and high intensity interval sessions (Gravel) from 10 degrees celsius to around 0 degrees celsius. With just one base layer underneath. Also plan on using gilets for insulation in even colder climate. Location: Sweden. Measurements: I’m 181 cm, 79 kg (+/- 1 kg), Chest 98 cm, Waist 83 cm and Hips 93 cm at moment of purchase. Size and fit: I chose a size Large jacket but could probably gone with a Medium aswell. However, I like a bit of ”room to breathe” in a jacket. A bit wide in the shoulders and long in the arms, but not ”baggy” in any way. Review: Winter is relative. I did not purchase this jacket to use during long distance nordic winter rides (at -5 to -20 degrees celsius), and I do not believe it will be insulating enough for that, even with great layering. However, for the shorter high intensity rides I’d be happy to use it with warmer layers for high intensity work at around 1 hour in colder climate. But I suspect it will be insufficient at around -5 to -10 even for that. I’ve bought a Brevet Insulated gilet and a Brevet Gilet with pockets (in size M) to aid in insulation and windprotection. Overall a great racefit autumn/spring jacket! Very pleased with this jacket so far.

    Based on your chest measurement alone we recommend a size M. We do, however, recommend comparing your chest, waist and hip measurements as well to the size chart on the product page for the best fit.

    Hi - what's the better winter jersey - this, or the soon to be released Po Team Ingenium jersey? Primarily I'm interested in windproof capability and insulation. Planning to use in conjunction with Pro Team Thermal jersey, baselayer, & windproof gilet.

    The Pro Team Winter Jacket is better as far as insulation goes, whereas the Pro Team Long Sleeve Infinium Jersey uses Gore-Tex technology and it will be more windproof and is water resistant.

    If I have to layer up and maximum breathability on a day without rain is the goal, do you recommend a windblock baselayer OR a light gilet combined with a baselayer?
