The Rapha Helmet marries the engineering expertise of Giro with Rapha’s trademark styling to offer the perfect balance of comfort, breathability and protection. The sophisticated Roc Loc® Air fit-system makes the helmet feel barely there, and additional protection comes from the MIPS Brain Protection System, a low-friction layer between the outer shell and liner of the helmet.

To determine the correct helmet size, wrap a measuring tape around the head, keeping the tape just above the ears and level front to back. Once you’ve determined the measurement, you can use the chart here as a guide; However, we recommend that you try helmets on prior to purchase to ensure the best fit and comfort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tweedy from You won't regret it... This is the second Rapha helmet I have as I was very happy with the first one I bought. It is stylish, comfortable and feels safe. As I have a rather large head, I wear the large size and find it to be most comfortable, even on a hot day and long ride.The only complain I have is that if only it comes with a carry bag for travelling, then it would be perfect. The thin fabric cover the helmet comes with does not do it justice... Otherwise, highly recommended.

So, I have never had a properly fitting or comfortable helmet in the 25+ years that I've been cycling. Imagine my excitement to have a high quality helmet that fits well, and is comfortable! And, it's even a size Large, not an Extra Large Special Helmet for People With Large Heads. Thanks, Rapha!

This is the first helmet I have ever owned which I can say is actually comfortable (in fact I really don't realize it is on at all when I wear it). It is light as a feather and also very breathable. As someone who knows way too many people with head injuries, it is so comforting to know that I have as protective helmet (MIPS technology) as they come. I have a smallish head and the fact that they have a small and not just a sm/med is so great. It was expensive, but I really feel it was a worthwhile investment.

Is the outer shell the same size and dimensions between the small and the medium?

How is this different from the Giro Synthe helmet?

Hi, the helmet is built in collaboration with Giro. Using their expertise and finished with Rapha design and features. All versions have MIPS (Multiple Impact Protection System) and added reflective webbing for visibility. Aesthetic elements include aero side panels and a pearlescent coating in black and white colourways, with an integrated rear air vent for cooling.
