Description

Precision is the key to performance, and Rapha’s Pro Team collection takes attention to detail as its cornerstone. These Pro Team Leg Warmers feature a windproof and water-resistant fabric to the front leg for race-ready protection when the weather turns. A brushed back fleece fabric behind the knee improves comfort, while silicon grippers to both sides keep the warmers in exactly the right place. Strategic seam positioning moves panel joints away from high motion areas when pedalling so you can concentrate on your efforts, and reflective logos add an element of visibility for the low-light conditions of autumn and winter.

NB. The labels denoting the ‘front’ of the Pro Team Leg Warmers are the wrong way around. This is due to a manufacturing error. To avoid unnecessary wastage, they will be available with a 10% discount.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good to have but with some down sides Got these leg warmers for this winter. They were great between 5-20C. The warmers also have a water repelling coating, but my winter season was too dry to test it out. Having warm legs not only helps with performance, keeping the knees and joints warm also prevents injury. A possible down side for wearing this for prolonged times is that the grippers are quite tight. The skin on my inner thigh actually got scratched so much during festive500 that rash developed, there's still a scar now :( Putting on and off the leg warmers may also be difficult, especially when passing through the heel. I find it helpful to cover the toe with a food bag when wearing the leg warmer to reduce friction.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Full leg coverage I regularly use the knee warmers and recently bought these leg warmers for more coverage on my ankle/calf. I’m happy with the lower length of the leg warmer find they go much higher up my though than the knee version. It’s not quite as comfortable on my thighs and something that surprised me. I will continue to wear them for that nice ankle coverage though. Generally, the fabric is great and keep my legs dry and warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Leggings Bought for cold damp days when full winter tights are too much and I’m very pleased with them. Quite simply they do what it says on the tin! Comfy, stay in place and keep you warm and dry. Well sized (large fits me well at 6’1”) with a nice fleece-type inner and water shedding outer. Stitching is good and seams are not uncomfortable/annoying the way some can be. Definitely a recommended product.

The functionality, stretch, warmth level, and overall fit serve me well in all sorts of cool and windy conditions. It's supple quality belies its durability -- these may sustain their shape and elasticity for a long time despite weekly washing. Rapha has the high-end leggings niche fully covered.

Seriously, they seem to be held on flour and water paste. Why spoil the experience of some decent clothing with the cheapest, nastiest finishing

But I've loved them so far for my once a week weekend cycling , kept me warm and stayed up with no issues

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, effective and fit well These are excellent leg warmers. Toasty warm in temperatures as low as 1 degree. The grippers are a big improvement and don’t roll as you put them on. Generally, these are very comfortable indeed and are great quality.

Are these leg warmers the same color as the EF Pro Team bibs?

No, these are black whilst the EF Pro Team Bib Shorts are a dark Navy. However they will still make a great pairing.

We are recommending using the Pro team leg warmers between 40 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees celcius) and 55 degrees Fahrenheit (12 degrees celcius).

How does the warmth compare to the new thermal leg warmers?

The Pro team leg warmers are thicker and heavier than the classic thermal leg warmers due to the insulated water resistant fabric used . In terms of warmth , the Pro team leg warmers can be worn in slightly colder and wet conditions than the the classic thermal leg warmers.
