Nice
Really love these shorts. I initially ordered two pairs of different size - 30 and 32 - with the intention to return the pair that didn't fit. I liked them so much I exchanged the 30 for another pair in 32 but of a different colour. I'm 183cm and 72kg and the 32 is the best fit for me. Despite most comments about them sizing up large, I found them true to size.

Best shorts I’ve bought
Wanted these for a while and wish I’d bought some sooner. I’m 5’9 and 80kg and normally 34 but they were huge so I’d definitely size down if you can’t try them in store. 32 are perfect for me. Really comfortable with great Zipped pockets And can be worn casual or formal. I’ll be buying more in other colours next summer.

Great shorts, as advertised
I've had so many shorts over the years. I got these about a month ago and have used them for 15-40 miles in hot weather. The material is light weight and has a nice amount of stretch. Using the size guidelines, I was in between a 30 and 32. I ordered the 32. They're a little big but that maybe helps make them a little cooler. The length is a bit longer than I'd prefer. I sometimes fold them up from the bottom, which reveals a bit of pink piping on the seam. Nice touch. If they have any odor resistance, that's not apparent to me. I like them so much that I'm thinking of another pair. $125 is not cheap, but I've bought a bunch of Outlier clothing also and I would say these Rapha Randonee shorts are a better value. I like them so much that I'm thinking of getting another pair.

Brooks Cambium C13 1 - Randonnee Shorts 0
Can’t talk of the long term durability of these shorts yet but after 2 months I’ve noticed definite pilling and roughing up of the saddle area of the short after using them as my commuter shorts. The Brooks Cambium C13 saddle just might be too harsh but I’d expect more from a £95 pair of shorts hence dropping a few stars.
Comfy shorts and I love the material as it’s slightly stretchy and seems to be quick drying. Overall I like the length of shorts but I tend to have them permanently rolled up one time.

Second pair I've bought, wearing them now.
Does what it said. This is my second pair of the shorts, and I am wearing them now. Mighty comfortable, good to ride in. Last well, the old pair still fine - I just wanted to wear them more.

Stylish in the baggys!
For those not into the whole lycra thing, these are awesome. I wear them over the top of my Core Shorts and they really tick the box. Highly recommend.

Amazing Shorts
This is my second pair of randonnee shorts and the review is simple, these are the best shorts money can buy. I'll make the assumption the most Rapha shoppers prefer the clean look of shorts that fit rather than cargo shorts and if that is the case these are amazing. The material has the perfect level of stretch so as not to be all over the place and they look incredibly stylish and pair easily with collared shirts (short sleeve) polos and t-shirts. Similar to most of the Rapha "off bike wear" not cheap but you will remember the quality long after the price is forgotten.

Good cut & style
Functional, smart shorts for general riding, zipped pockets on the side are a good feature, material seems robust after first couple of rides and just the one wash. The fit I would say is true to actual size rather than garment size ie. normally wear 32" jeans that fit perfect but these shorts in 32" run up a little loose on the waist but granted probably wear the shorts higher up so something to consider when purchasing.

Check sizing, baggier than previous.
Best commuting / touring shorts. However, they are baggier than previous versions (mine lasted three years with almost daily commuting, a few tours and a couple of road falls), so they look more casual. The waist line isn't very different, but maybe you could get a 31 if you got a 32 last time.

Size and look
I wish they make them in 33 size. And images on a website were showing Rapha log at the back of the shorts, but in reality arrived with out, I did report it a month ago, but still website shoes outdated images, this is so sad to be so ignorant from Rapha side.

lightweight and stylish everyday shorts
Really worth to buy. These are lighweight and stylish everyday shorts for commuting, gravel etc. Enough (zip) pockets. Only downside for me that these are little bit on longer side, but I can just wrap it up and it looks also cooler in that way, hah.

Fabulous Shorts - Be Careful With Sizing
I've had at least one pair of Randonée Shorts each season since Day 1, and each pair is still going strong. Some features have come and gone, but they have essentially been the same rock-solid pair of short since the beginning. Perfect amount of stretch, breathable, and my #1 fav feature: zippered pockets! Awesome. The only thing I've noticed is over the years I've gone from a size 32 fitting perfectly to a size 30. I specifically ordered two pairs this time - a 30 and a 32, and kept the size 30.

Great shorts
Stylish, comfortable and functional.
Look really good, on and off the bike. Run large. I’m a standard 32, ordered a 32 and they were far to big. Gave them to my brother who loves them. Ordered a 30! Highly recommend

Ok, but could do with a couple of tweaks.
Good quality shorts with a very comfortable material and fit. The reflective stripes on the turn ups are a very nice touch when riding in low light. I feel these shorts could adopt some of the elements from the their trail cousins, namely the inner pocket holder for the mobile phone, as well as making the pockets slightly more angled internally and bigger. The button closure feels a little flimsy on the buttons, and again might benefit from the sliding lock as used in the trail shorts.

Subtle improvements
Bought to replace a 4 year old pair - which are still going strong. Slightly larger in the waist, slightly longer in the leg. I’m usually a 33 in jeans, the 32 fit perfectly.

Nice but for the price the quality is lacking
For the price, the quality of the material leaves a bit to be desired. It's pretty thin and I already have a very small hole. Otherwise, the shorts are nice.

Could be better
The fabric is soft, comfortable, lightweight. Really like the zippered pockets and the hi-viz pink stuff in the back pocket and the seams when you roll the hem.
For the not so good parts:
- These shorts are a little loose. I normally wear a size 32 and got these in the same size. I need a belt to wear these.
- The legs are quite long. I understand that that would depend on the person but it goes down to my knees, which I think is too long.
- Was thinking of having it shortened but saw that the pink piping on the outseam is only around 6cm short! If I have it cut, then there would be no more hi-viz piping.
- The navy is too bright. Was expecting it to be darker. According to Adobe:
Navy is a dark shade of blue that's nearly black in color. Its roots are firmly planted in history and it's named after the British Royal Navy (officers wore navy blue uniforms).

A stand out short
I use this shorts primarily on gravel rides. They look fantastic on and off the bike. I won’t recommend it on a 120km+ ride, it’s not marketed for it anyways. I found that the seam on the back pocket digs/rubs overtime on my bum even though I’m wearing bibshorts. I move the bike a lot under me on single and difficult tracks and that’s where the friction comes from. The fit and material is perfect for what it is for.

Excellent but expensive.
Excellent shorts which I can see myself using for a good time to come. I may even get a second pair. The other big plus is that the Rapha branding is really subtle - if it weren’t I wouldn’t have bought them.
Like all Rapha shorts though, very long in the leg which can be as impractical as it is unflattering and, I suspect, a lot more expensive than they need to be.
Nonetheless, a good-quality product.

Really pleased with these shorts.
Really comfortable, well made and stylish. I bought these to replace my old touring shorts that have been discontinued for gravel riding and wear padded boxers underneath (Rapha please produce these again), they’re great. The one thing I’d say though is don’t rely on the size chart. Based on the measurements I should have purchased Large. I ended up with a small. Go with your normal trouser/jeans size.

Excellent Shorts
Fantastic Shorts, I wear them over pro team bib shorts...to avoid walking into my office in said pro team bib shorts... they are comfortable, light, move well and don't get heavy in rain. I do a 45km commute each way (not every day, once or twice a week) and these are great... the pink stripe on the upturn is also a nice touch... can also be worn casual and look fantastic.

The best non lycra shorts
I'm now onto my third pair of these, what can I say, they're absolutely brilliant both on and off the bike, do the job and look great, the cut is elegant and flattering even if you're out of shape like I am. My only tiny complaint would be that they don't last longer, but then again I wore both my previous pairs almost every day in summer for years. Just buy them.

Randonnee Shorts
I was searching for the best cycling shorts that weren’t bibs or made of a polyester and through several recommendations ended up buying Randonnee Shorts. My only complaint is the stitching around the buttonholes. It might be just bad luck, but my pair was unraveling from the edges. Color options match with the other Rapha products, which is a nice little detail.

Fresh, light, allowing movement
I live in Madrid. Summer is long and too hot here. My commute is 10 km either way and I love riding my gravel bike as fast as traffic will allow, so my requirements for cycling shorts are clear: fresh, light, allowing movement.
Rapha's Randonnee Shorts fit the bill - I am very happy with them. If they only were a bit less pricey, I'd order a second pair.

Excellent summer short
These are nearly perfect short. Decent stretch extremely durable for wearing out, smarter with a shirt or causal with a t-shirt, or bopping around on the bike. Only drawback is if they don’t fit perfectly they need a belt, they should have had a small adjustable element to them (side elastic or button or something and then they’d be perfect.
