Good jersey with a few minor irritants.
Great fabric that works fine around 40-55 degrees F. Stretches slightly after first few times of use which is good. Lower hem on back rides up some and the tiny, fine tooth zipper can be akward to use.

The essence of cycling captured in a jersey
To me the Core Jerseys capture the essence of cycling, everything you need and nothing you don't need in a modern well fitting perfectly functional jersey with bags of understated style that just works, no fuss, no BS, not fancy but it is 'authentic', real . I own and wear a long sleeve, short sleeve and a lightweight one for the summer, all fantastic. They are an iconic piece of kit.

Great jersey, tricky sizing
Super stylish, comfortable and value for money jersey. It is versatile for winter rides, combined with a base layer or and a jacket, if necessary. One star less because - as other customer pointed out - I wear a small short sleeve Core Jersey, but I had to get a Medium. Actually the perfect size would be something in between S and M, being the latter sleeves a bit loose, in my case.

Sceptical at 1st
Was sceptical at first, loads of other brands on the market at lower price point, how much better can it actually be, it was worth every dollar and extremely comfy and warm , not overly warm but does its job and with a thermal base layer it’s cosy, great top and good quality

Great Jersey
Great Jersey,, the only problem is,,,out of the box the Rapha lettering was loose and pulling away from the Jersey.
Really not a big deal,, all the lettering can come off and it will make no difference to me. The Jersey fits great, looks good and is a good deal for the price I paid. Called the company and they gave me a discount on a future item.
Thanks Rapha,, rubber down!!!

Almost... almost.
Good fit, good texture and overall great... other than just one issue.
When I start putting things in jersey pockets... it has tendency to move the back of jersey bunched up and it rides up.... maybe use different elasticity on jersey side for pocket area or add a little more on back for length for actual usage of this type of jersey where you will be using pocket for vest, etc?

Nice cool/cold weather jersey
Rapha large fits me across the product line. 5'10", 170 lbs, 42" chest, 63 yrs. Fits close at the neck without constriction which keeps out the draft while remaining comfortable. I. can fit a base layer underneath, too. The pockets are snug, which I like- a mini pump stays vertical, you don't have to worry about dumping your phone. Bright and light colors are a plus for me.

It just works at a great price
Really good jersey at a great price. No super-high tech fabrics but it just works: my go to for about 2c (with gilet and base) - 10c. No windproof membrane or DWR coating but close knit keeps most wind out and allows it to breathe. I get hot in a Gabba and this just works and a snug fit can be obtained by sizing down (ie, I'm L in Pro Team but this in a M fits just as well).

Rapha long sleeve core
I had few of men's core long sleeve jerseys old design and this new come out in the market is really comfortable, more lighter, and fabric is way much better from other brands that I had tried. The style and stripe in the arm is super cool as a brand trend mark. I feel more confident and happy when I wear them especially in winter season and light breeze. Great and Love it!

Snug and Comfy
I was worried that even this Large jersey would be too tight, especially since I normally take a Medium. But despite the snug fit, I found that it moved nicely with me and felt supple and soft on the inside. The sleeves cling nicely to my arms and there's no flapping in the breeze. And the quality is undeniably excellent despite being a "starter" garment in the lineup.

Crazy sizing and worst zip ever
Ordered large but even Freddie Mercury would have struggled to get this on. Extra Large better but the quality of the zip defies description. The problem is that it is almost impossible to get the zip started particularly with the garment on. I have decided to leave the bottom of the garment zipped to avoid aggravation. This is unacceptable for a garment of any price.

Fantastic jersey for those colder rides
I’ve used this jersey throughout the winter and early spring and, when twinned with a long or short sleeve base layer, it has proven one of the best pieces of kit I’ve bought. It wicks really well and the Roubaix fabric helps keep you warm enough, even in some sun-zero temperatures. It’s well-cut and extremely comfortable. My go-to jersey when the mercury falls.

Solid pre Spring riding gear
Comfortable jersey that works well in cooler temps. Fit is snug (size large - I wear a 42 jacket), arms have plenty of length, and the torso is a little short. Wore this a few times with a thermal vest on very damp 40 degree early morning rides and it worked great. Wore by itself on some low 40 morning rides as well and it was very comfortable. Would recommend.

Warmer than expected
This is a great top for spring / autumn riding and even crisp winter days with the addition of a gilet. I'm a 44 inch chest, 33 inch waist and a large fits me snugly. In NE Scotland this is warm enough for most days where temps are in the 5-14c range. Nice fit, well made and a reasonable price for kit of this quality. Bought another because I use this so much.

nicely made - odd fit
I'm 180cm/65kg with a climbers build. Small jersey is baggy in the chest yet has extremely tight arms, particularly at the elbows. Hard to imagine given my twig-like arms (think Sepp Kuss, just a lot slower) This was a deal breaker for me, so I ended up parting ways with the jersey. Fabric and construction seemed nice; would be a winner if pattern was revised.

Excellent quality long sleeve jersey
Excellent quality long sleeve jersey that doesn't break your bank. The quality of this jersey is really good. My only issue was the sleeves. I tried two sizes. The one that really fits you has smaller sleeves which makes it little harder to put on. One size up has git fitting sleeves but the core is a little too loose. Also the material seems less streachable.

Excellent Quality - Careful of Fit
I have nothing but Rapha cycling clothing. Probably 10 pieces altogether. This is another excellent item. Only advice is to order a size bigger than you think you need (or order two sizes and send one back with free returns) I find the sizing is quite tight around the tummy. Even if you're fit. I'm a Large in all my clothing, but order an XL when buying Rapha.

Not for cold winter riding at all!
Unfortunately this jersey is not as thick as expected, hence not of the intended use in winter, even with a warm baselayer. Have to wait for the spring. Otherwise a decent piece of garment re quality and size, although the sizing can be at bit off, as either too small or then on ordering a size up, too flappy. A tricky one...I would therefore score it 7/10.

Solid cool weather jersey
Got to use this jersey for the first time today. Low 40’s, and no wind. Jersey kept me wonderfully warm accompanied with a Rapha s/s merino baselayer. Was easy to dump heat on the few climbs I had. Wicked sweat as well. Had a Rapha core rain jacket in my pocket just in case i needed to cut the wind but never had to pull it. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great Option
I don't have many long sleeve jerseys b/c there is a very narrow window to wear them where I live. Since this is thicker/warmer than a standard jersey, When paired with a long sleeve base layer, I'm able to get more uses out of it and avoid a jacket in late and early season. It's just an excellent option in the kit quiver. Have worn it many times already.

Nicely constructed perfect for most of us
This is a very nice jersey. The material has a fleecy inner, so it's probably perfect for cool/cold weather. The fit/cut is comfy-- more forgiving than the pro team stuff, which means it's comfortable but also a lot of wrinkles (not stretched tight and flat). That said, it's not baggy or loose at all. It's a great jersey for what most of us need.

Top quality top but with one minor annoyance
This is a fantastic top for autumn riding or as part of layering system in the winter. It is very well made and feels great to wear. The fit is more relaxed than other jerseys so you could easily wear a merino wool base layer under it. The only flaw is that the sleeve collars are no elasticated so cold air can get in and make your arms feel cold.

Warm and Comfortable
I bought this for shoulder season riding here in Louisiana. It has been perfect for that. Warm enough with a base layer for rides in the low 40sF with no jacket and cool enough for windy rides with temps in the mid 60s. It is exceptionally comfortable with just enough stretch and light compression to be close fitting without being constricting.

Excellent long sleeve jersey for cool conditions
A really nice jersey. Feels luxurious and comfortable despite its 'Core' range tag. A roubaix type inner gives a good temperature range and it has replaced my long sleeved classic jersey as my go to long sleeve jersey. Fits really well, not overly tight and will allow a long sleeve merino base layer or short sleeve base layer equally. Love it.

Great jersey but size is off
Really nice style, colours and material but the sizing is way off for me. I’m generally a Med or sometimes Large size but this feels really big around the shoulders and chest. while the sleeves are short and they don’t really taper towards the wrist leaving them open to the wind and they flap around quite a bit. I’ll use it but not everyday.

Nice Jersey. Runs small
Purchased the Teal color and it's very Vibrant, has a nice soft feel and gives adequate warmth in the 40s if layered. I'm 6'4" 180 lbs and usually purchase a medium but it was way too short and tight. Returned for a large...still a little tight but its my preferred fit. Back pockets a little high for easy access. Very easy return process.

Good Top!
Wore this for the first time @ the weekend as it was a little cooler in the am and I'm happy with it. Only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the material is less forgiving than my other Rapha tops, so find it slightly tighter on the shoulders and arms. Apart from that its well made and looks like it should last a good while.

Great bit of kit!
Really nice jersey, ideal for spring autumn rides when you know a short sleeved jersey wouldn’t be quite enough. One small niggle is that the pockets are just a little too narrow - but as an item bought in the Rapha sale it was worth every penny! The bright orange colour is ideal for those overcast days we get in early spring/late autumn

Discrete long sleeve jersey, warm and colorful
Excellent long sleeve top, weather proof, not water proof, but so warm in colder mornings. Well crafted and stitched with precision in mind. Tasteful and discrete logo's. Wash and wear in no time, very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend this top, been riding for 35 years, 63 years old and seen my fair share of poor quality gear.
