Great winter jacket!
First jacket from Rapha and it's great! I'm 176cm and go to the gym. It fits close to the body but with enough space for a base layer and a bit of movement on the saddle. After a few cold morning starts I found it warm enough between +3 and 10degrees with a long & short arm base layers. However no vents make it a little sweaty, hence 4stars. It provides oaky water resistance when it starts raining. Well made with good materials, will get another soon.

Great cool weather gear!
Great jacket. I ride year round and bike commute in the Seattle area. The Core Winter Jacket is my favorite piece of winter riding gear. It’s good for. The mid-30s to mod-50s, depending on layering. The fabric panels work great I front to keep the wind from seeping through while staying breathable enough that you don’t overheat. Even water resistant enough for me to stay comfortably with a little Seattle drizzle.

Happy with my Mens core jacket
Generally very happy with this Mens Core Jacket. Was great value too. It is more like a three layer softshell jersey than a jacket. More wind proof than water proof but this makes it surprisingly warm when combined with different base layers. The only downside is the cut. It has a slim fit to the torsoe of the jacket which is less elastic than say a normal jersey and has enourmously long sleeves that would seem to be aimed at an animal that drags its knuckles along the ground rather than a normal scale human being! The sleeves are also very loose fitting to the point that air can be felt circulating around as you ride. Despite its odd dimensions I do like it although its less breathable than a conventional long sleeve jersey and base layer. It can be clammy on some rides, but is better than some other brands I used. My first Rapha purchase and I would recommend to a friend.

Watch the colour bleed in the wash!
Jacket itself seems very well made for the price. Haven't had a chance to wear it yet as its still summer in Australia but I imagine it will be good for cold mornings with a chance of showers. Just watch out when washing it that you don't mix it with anything white. It's the first Rapha product I've ever purchased that isn't colour fast. I've now got pink arm warmers and a hat that used to be white.

What a cracking jacket !
Well pleased makes an excellent winter jacket . I tend to run warm so have found that on colder days it’s a good replacement for my Castelli Perfetto . It appears to be well made and finished . Sizing is about right I am 173cm and 73 kg , large is a perfect fit with a medium weight merino top under , sleeves are a good length , I have long arms . All round a well made and excellent piece of kit .

Rapha Rocks !!!
I have used this jacket with an under layer, it was perfect. As the temperature dropped to 30 I added another under layer and was warm for all 3 hours. The fit and bands are perfect . The best winter jacket I have in the market. As the temperature climbed, after the winter it was actually too warm even in, high winds and cold chilly days so I used my Rapha sleeve jersey which worked perfectly.

Fits tight. Warm jacket.
This is a very tight jacket. But it's comfortable and warm in cooler weather. I haven't tried it in cold weather yet because we went from balmy weather to freezing and snowy weather in a few days.

Perfect Jacket!
Nice jacket, warmer as I thought it would be. Perfect for winter conditions in combination with a base layer for me. Good water repellent - kept me dry during my daily commute of 15 km a few times!
This is actually my first Rapha product I own, think there are more to be ordered soon. Really impressed by the quality, design, functionality and the brand itself.

Great winter jacket
A great, well made jacket perfect for chilly rides. I’ve ridden mostly 3-10c and it’s been perfect with just a base layer. Any colder and a long sleeve jersey will make it comfortable again. Warm and wind proof without being sweaty. I ordered my usual size plus one up as it is a jacket and might have other layers underneath - I kept the one a size up.

Perfect jacket for colder days
Very nice jacket. Thanks to the breathing back it's not too warm and sweaty, but the windblocker on the front side keeps you nice and warm with colder weather, wind and even stops some rain. With me the zipper from the back pocket broke with the first time use, but Rapha exchanged the jacket for a new one within a week. Excellent service.

Great early spring/autumn jacket
Great jacket for early spring/autumn rides w a thin merino base layer underneath. Overall fit is OK. Not perfect like other size M tops I have from Rapha. Arms are quite tight. For reference I am 177 and 76 kg. Still a very functional jacket though and I like that the windstopper fabric is only in the front in favour of breathability.

Good quality jacket and very well priced
Very nice jacket, good size pockets and a useful zippered one too. Looks good, warm, keeps wind out, feels high quality. I would give 5 stars but I find the arms slightly too long for me
I’m 5’10 80kg 41” chest and believe the medium would be too tight for me so I’ll take long arms for the benefit of a comfortable torso

Excellent single-layer L/S jersey/jacket
In our not-so-cold SF Bay Area winters, this "jacket" is for those rides that start in the upper 40's (F) and end in the lower 60's. It's more of a hybrid jersey-jacket and I can wear it with a base layer to feel totally comfortable. When it's really cold I can add a light windshell or rain jacket to stay warm.

Great purchase
A bit expensive but you will clearly not be disappointed by the quality of the product. Well worth it. I have worn it at temperatures ranging between 0 to 10 degrees celsius and was pretty warm. Would consider something warmer below 0 degree celcius. I am 6´4’’ 170lbs and bought medium size, which fit perfectly.

Ideal at 5c
This jacket works really well for me and at about 5c all i need underneath is a long sleeve base layer. Starts to get warm at 8c but different/more base layers should make the jacket fine in warmer/colder conditions.
Sleeves are a fraction too long and collar a bit gappy making it a bit cold around the neck.

Winter Core Jacket
Very nice cold weather jacket. Fit is a bit snug for a jacket, but helps cut the cold. I wore this with a long sleeve base in 45F East Coast USA weather and was not cold at all. Anything colder you would probably need something with more warmth. Overall I like this jacket a lot for those cold days riding.

Excellent
This is just the jacket I was after for winter riding. It stops cold wind and is toasty warm, water pearls off of it too so keeps you dry, though I've only ridden in drizzle and mist with it. Bought a size larger than I normally do so I can layer it with either a l/s jersey and/or a base layer.

Superb core jacket
Super warm and perfect for the cold rides when the wind can bite through a regular top. No need for a baselayer although this might be an option if you are riding when the temperature would change through the ride (ie morning through to afternoon). Great material and well made, very impressed.

Solid Winter Jacket
Having now tested this jacket in sub-freezing temperatures multiple times wearing only a baselayer underneath, I can confidently say this jacket should keep you quite warm under challenging conditions. 6'4", 200 lbs. and the XL fits nicely with room to layer. L for me was more of a race fit.

As good as it gets
Very satisfied with this jacket. I have some rides in temperatures around 5 degrees and with a baselayer it was fine. For the price it is tough to beat. Have more rapha jackets in pro and classic but this one is my go to jacket for MTB. I am 6.2 and size large feels snug for a classic fit.

Balanced warmth, ventilation, and quality
The jacket is a good balance between warmth and yet breathable protection. I haven’t used in wet weather, so can’t speak to its DWR characteristics. It has that classic Rapha styling and quality. It’s my go to jacket for weather in the 35-50F temperature combined with a good base layer.

Great winter jacket.
Even better than the original winter jacket. This fits beautifully, some nice touches such as zip pocket for phone, slightly thicker, more fitted waist band to stop gaps and bagging. Great bit of kit and back to the quality we used to see from Rapha pre-ownership change. Very pleased.

Stylish and Warm Winter Jacket
This is a great jacket for cold autumn and winter rides, keeps you warm and great attention to detail in the design. Good length, nice fabric and good sized pockets for all your essentials and more. Sleeve length a bit long, but apart form its perfect for winter training.

Very good
It's a soft-shell jacket and a good one. It has wind protection on the front, and it does keep you warm. I wore it when it was 7 degrees out and I was warm and comfortable. Highly recommended and especially in red. It will make you more visible in traffic.

Wish I’d bought years sgo
Worn this only a couple of times now, I wish I’d bought it years ago. Just one base layer and it’s been excellent, bit of rain just bounced off it. Don’t know what it’s like though when torrential. I bought a large and am 79 kgs and 6ft2, excellent fit.

Core winter jacket
Rapha nailed this one! Fit, finish and function! DWR treatment works, windstopper in the right places, and insulation where you want it. Stay true to your size im a 42in chest a large is my size ,dont size up! Unless you want a sagging look, ugh!

Impressed so far.
So far so good. The front panel keeps out the wind and the jacket is warm in a few degree temperatures. Good sized pockets + zipped one is useful. Quality seems good and fit is close, but if you're used to cycle clothing you'll expect this.
