Perfect as that final layer on cooler rides
Love this gilet - gives that extra bit of warmth and comfort on those cooler morning/evening rides and easily folds down to fit into a jersey pocket. An internal pocket would be a nice addition but still works without it.

Just the right Warmth and Raph good looks
Simply beautiful piece of kit in terms of performance and looks. The added warmth of the insulation is perfect and the brevet stripes put me at ease when the sun is going down.

Perfect gilet for a cooler day
Functionally, the vest is excellent. A little warmer than your uninsulated gilet. Double zipper is nice too. The green color is kind of weird, but a great deal on sale.

The missing piece of winter kit
Packs small enough to fold in a back pocket like a normal gilet. This is now my go to gilet in anything below 10c.

Great gilet
Great gilet. The insulation and fit are perfect. Big miss are the lack of pockets.

No rear pockets
Rapha was among the first to offer rear pockets on their vests now they don’t

Recommend
Performs exactly as many reviews said it would. Will need to size up (I’m medium jersey but large in this). Thermoreg is good and is a great fit, as aero as a gilet could be. Very light but also warm. An issue with no pockets or that it’s restrictive to get to your jerseys pockets. Once I got my head around its design I appreciated it more. Have wore it on almost every winter ride so far, would recommend even with the pocket restraint

Warm and light!
Fantastic Gilet! The materials, performance and fit are excellent. I am 5'9", 152lbs and medium size fits great.(I wear medium Rapha Jerseys also). I feel sizing is spot on! Light weight and rolls up nice and small so it will easily fit into a jersey pocket. Good insulation and breathable, ideal for those chilly rides.

Effective insulation
I assume this insulated gilet works by trapping a layer of air. It really works. The gilet is very lightweight - it is much warmer than it looks. I bought this for early morning and evening commutes, for which it is very effective. I anticipate certain road rides where i would use it.

Too small….sizing is off on this item.
Great vest but returned it as the sizing is so small.

Brevit gilet
5’8 72kg ordered the medium but slightly tighter than I’d hope (only very slightly) but will only wear with a jersey underneath think the large would just be like a cape. It’s a very nice quality gilet

Better than expected
I trust in this brand for great quality items. I have never been let down. Fit is good not overly tight but is not flapping in the wind at all. It’s only missing a back pocket.

Go to piece of kit!
This is a go to item for almost all my rides. Keeps my chest warm without bulky jacket, is very light weight and rolls up compact to fit in jersey back pocket.

Works good.
So far it is good. Does what it is for. Gives an extra insulation for the core body. Like the style, weight and added reflectors for dim conditions.

Older Version More Sturdy
Warm but runs small; the material is thin, so I am not sure how long this vest will last. However long it’s here, it’s a great looking piece of kit.

Fantastic Gilet
Rapha's Brevet Insulated Gilet is, and has been for a long time, the best Rapha product. Wear it every ride and it is very easily stowed.

Small to carry
It is useful and has really helped when riding and the temp has suddenly dropped- as it’s very prone to do at this time of year (Jan-Feb)
It is a bit warmer than normal gilets but considering how tiny it crunches up I would prefer one with more insulation provided it’s still stowable in rear pockets. There are times here in the UK when the ‘feels like’ temperature can drop well over 10 degrees ( going from sun warming sweaty to windchill freezing) in a very short time indeed so really what would be better is a gilet made of down but those I have already are just too big to get in rear jersey pockets.
Somewhere between the two would be perfect : a rear pocket stow-able gilet that either had more of the same insulation or down.
Down insulates and breathes much better but unfortunately can’t stand getting wet, all the same I’d like that as an option too, a down gilet small enough to fit rear jersey pockets
This is very handy though and definitely holds a bit more heat in than standard gilets but packs up just as tiny
Fit was correct for me. I’m 5’11”, 67-70 kilos (depending how's near Xmas it is) and size M is right for wearing over a 260 merino base layer under the team pro winter jersey. I also tried the L which was loose but not unwearable.
